Let me start off by saying the in game engine and actual game play is amazing. My biggest issue is with the story and general mission structure. It feels much more like the PSP version (which is somewhat appropriate timeline wise). If you've played the main 1-4 in the Metal Gear Solid series, this one is nothing like it story wise. It's very clear that Konami pulled the plug on the project too soon and it wasn't finished in time for release date.

Graphics are amazing and the mechanics for this game is great! With the new open world elements they've added, you can easily get sucked into doing side quests instead of the main story missions.

I have been waiting for this game to release since it was teased years ago. I have been a huge MGS fan and this is a great continuation of the series. This game is massive and you can enjoy every mission side mission, and customize everything. If you like this series and haven't picked it up, do it for yourself.

Maybe the most impressive thing about this already very impressive game is just how weird it is. MGSV is bursting with the kinds of bizarre little touches this series is known for but which you never see in the biggest games that cost tens of millions and take years to create, especially the ones in this genre.

Since this is on the PS4...you can expect to great graphics. The gameplay is solid. Maps are expansive for most of the missions. Good buy.

Cons: lots of cut scenes and not a good explanation of button assignment in the beginning Pros: Everything else in game. A must have title.

Great game have been playing metal gear since the begining. There is a lot of detail hours of gameplay. Must have for any metal gear fan.

I haven't been too convinced with the previous Metal Gear games but this one is my favorite. Much better storyline and better missions.

For those who are fans of the series, this is a great game. The amount of content and its quality is rarely found in other games today.

Played the first Metal Gear on PS1. Loved it but haven't played one since then. Decided to pick this one up. Better than the first one.

This is my first Metal Gear game (not counting Rising, which is very different), so I will look at it as I would any other game series that I am not familiar with. This game was absolutely stunning. Very much akin to what I have heard being praised in the series, this game brings FPS to the new era.

The graphics are great, the gameplay is solid, however if you did not play ground zero you will be a little confused with the story line

Of course, this is a must buy for every Metal Gear fan. But for anyone new to the series, although there's lots of back story you might be missing out on, this is the Best open-world stealth game you can get. It's almost to the point where, if you think you can do it, you'll be surprised to see you can.

First off I would like to say I've been a long term metal gear solid because their has been plenty of copy cats but no one has been able to duplicate the authenticity of this fine franchise. So when I heard this was the last one ever being created I had no choice but to own this piece of gaming history
