my boyfriend bought this game when i surprised him with a ps4 for his bday. so far he's loving the console and the game!

spent 20 minutes attempting to put a bear to sleep. Lifted him out by balloon after tazering it with my robot arm. 10/10

This is my new favorite game, I can hardly pull myself away from it long enough to manage my other responsibilities...

Whether your a Metal Gear fan or 1st timer getting into the series. This overall is definitely the best one to play.

Good game overall. The controls can take awhile to get used to, even more so than most. The overall quality of the game is great though. The multiplayer, however, was a little disappointing. But eh, that's just my opinion. Buy the game.

Who should win Game of the Year? Witcher 3, Dragon Age Inquisition, Batman Arkham Knight, or Metal Gear Solid 5?

This game is absolutely amazing, I expected nothing less from creator Hideo Kojima's last Metal Gear Solid game.

I would say over the years we've come to expect a certain level of quality of MGS games over the years, and this one does indeed live up to that level. If this is your first time playing one in the series though, get ready for a very confusing story. I was pretty much lost and I've played all of them.

MGS5: The Phantom Pain is an excellent game. It is a massive improvement from MGS4 and that wasn't too bad. You have a new way to do things. The MGS series traditionally has been more about being stealthy then going guns a blazing but in this installment you can strategy to do either. The world is wide open in this one and through out the old linear way of playing the game. You choose missions, you prep for them with particular weapons, items, a buddy, etc. You feel far more in control of what is happening but the game adapts which is amazing! Since I'm from the old fold who started out with MGS on PS One I'm a bit biased to the stealthy, linear, and movie sequence type of game in the franchise but everything they do in this game they do well with exception that it doesn't always make sense when you follow the story. Also, the game appears to have been cut short as the 2nd half of the game is playing the majority of earlier missions with handicaps and the added story elements seem unfinished.

MGS5 may not be a linear story but it's still epic. Once the online multi-player released it is my go to mode.

Although this isn't fully a Hideo Kohima game it has his fingerprints all over it. It's the culmination of Metal Gear games that need to be experienced. This is a piece of art that if ignored will lessen your life. Do the right thing and play this game. It will make you a better person.

It starts off with you crawling around a hospital for like half an hour and then nothing else really peaked my interest in the game to continue past about the 2nd hour in the game.
