I'm not sure why this was made under the Metal Gear name since it seems to have nothing to do with Metal Gear canon, but the gameplay is undeniably fun. It plays like a Metal Gear game, just with a bizarre story that seems to have nothing to do with previous Metal Gear games. It is difficult, but I found myself enjoying the challenge. May be a little too difficult (sometimes unfairly so) to recommend fully.

The game takes you to a open world, gathering supplies for many quests for crafting weapons, food, and building materials to support home base. This game has many hours of enjoyment and exploration to accomplish this long playing game.

Great survival game with the Metal Gear gameplay. You must build, craft weapons and grow food to survive all with the zombies trying to get you.

The game lags a little when you’re running but otherwise it is a good game.

My son bought this game and has enjoyed it. It's different then other Metal Gear solid games, making it unique. If you are impatient this game is not for you.

Could not beat the sale price and have been wanting to buy this game. Amazing game. Great play time.

I’ve been hooked on this game. The hook of scavenging in the Fox engine is very satisfying.

Huge fan of metal gear series, but this is not metal gear. Boring. Monotonous. Repetitive. But beautiful graphics and fluid controls

This is a good game and fun to play with moments of challenge.

If you like to build bases to protect yourself then this is your game. I prefer more a attacking mind where you have to not survive but to thrive.

the game mechanics are good its just the zombies or monsters are kinda uggly feels like they just threw in some random zombies with tomotoe heads

This game is ok. It takes a long grind and the enemies are very hard.

I might be wrong but I think the entire game takes place on the same map over and over and over again. I have around 12 hours playing and I don’t see any progress at all. Just grinding and looking for stuff. Nothing big, Konami really wasted this franchise after kicking kojima out. This game is definitely not worth it

The game was failed from the get go except it was still fun.

Feels like a return to the more technical style of metal gear. Not the foolish action run and gun of V. Got MG Survive to play co-op with friends.

It is a compelling and intriguing game. Metal Gear done very differently and for good reason if you read into the games backstory.

If you like Metal Gear & zombie games then you will love this, definitely enjoyed it once I got used to all the mechanics.
