    When I put in my stereo, I did not install this and didn't have radio for years. When I got a new stereo I had this installed. Radio works now. So I dont know if it's better or worse than any other, but it's essential.

    My car stereo reception was terrible, once I hooked up this antenna adapter my stereo sounds awesome. If your stereo deck has a lot of static and poor reception I would recommend checking this out.
