I’m glad I spoke to someone who was very knowledgeable about the extra components that were needed for the radio installation. Though I’m not good with electronics and installations. I know the employee who I spoke with me, I unfortunately can’t remember why this exact antenna was needed, maybe the xmradio? I’m unsure. My regular radio antenna is still on the outside of my Jeep wrangler, so maybe it is for the xmradio. My apologies for not being able to explain more for people who are looking for components. All I know is the installation was completed, everything is working perfectly and having no issues. Just enjoying my new radio, with all the features I was looking for.

I got this to add to my aftermarket radio install because I do listen to the radio from time to time. Goes on easily, just a pain to have to stuff yet another wire back there. Reception is pretty good.
