I'm a BMW enthusiast, meaning I know more about my car than the dealer. Lol
My car had CCC navigation unit, Bluetooth, Backup camera, and park distance control.
These need to be programmed out of the car upon installation of this kit. You will also lose door chimes, and park distance sounds as well.
The kit works fine with steering wheel controls. Had a pioneer nex and sounded great! But the pioneer itself was buggy with Apple car play, and the GPS map update site was always down.
Ended up with an android touch screen that works excellent.
And you will loose idrive, and ability to set your date and time in cluster, and no way to reset factory TPMS either. If you know what you're getting into, and know what you're doing, go for it!
