Great add on to our jeep
Suggest anyone to buy if they don’t have a camera

Great addition to my Jeep that did not have an OEM rear camera option. Good field of view and the bracket makes it compatible with outside rear mounted tires.

Should have used stainless steel. Ofter kess than a month, the camera housing rusted and the bolts rusted. It honestly sucks. The camera quality it just ok. Mostly the mounitng hardware sucks. I’d look for something else.

Sold as working for Jeep Wrangler. You will need an adapter for your factory radio - something to plug the yellow video cable into. Found one on Amazon for ~$15. Even then it still will not work without programming, which BestBuy told me they could not do. Purchased an OBD Genie device at $130 to program the vehicle in seconds. I have a working backup cam now for my 2016 Sahara. But you may need to spend an extra $150. That is doing the self install, which is not overly complex but takes a couple of hours. BestBuy wants ~$130 to install but I expect you will still need adapter and programming. Nowhere in the description does it tell you any of this. False advertising??
As for the camera itself, image quality is poor. I have driven multiple vehicles with back up cams and this image is the worst by far. Image is okay during the day but at night it is very grainy and in B&W, even with street lights around.

The biggest problem with this is the type of wheels I have.
I had to tilt the camera a little to get it between the spokes of my wheel. This makes everything wonky on the display. Wish there was a way to adjust the picture or camera.

We have been looking everywhere for a backup camera that has night vision. We finally found this backup camera and it has not disappointed us. We highly recommend this product!

Mounting a camera is easy with the Geek Squad auto team! They let us know exactly what we needed to get the backup camera installed. Highly recommend using their services in Lady Lake!

If you only want this for the sole purpose of the camera then it’s good. The reverse lines however could not be collaborated with my jeep, so to me it defeats the purpose of a reverse camera. I thought this was made for jeeps.
