    This was my first Metroid-vania style game, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The controls take some getting used to, but it's not TOO steep of a learning curve. Nintendo doesn't seem to be paying as much attention to the 3DS due to the success of the Switch, but this was the best handheld game they put out all year, no question
