Pretty basic, nothing special. More affordable than some of the other ones, would not recommend for serious gamers.

Great sound, comfortable to wear, easy to use, great price

Bought this because the one that came with my day 1 console. I bought this one due to the fact that the original worked so well for me prior to it breaking.

Since it is the official Microsoft Xbox branded headset I expected it to work flawlessly and it has done exactly that. The audio quality is crystal clear and it's nice having the option right on the controller to mute and/or adjust the earpiece volume up or down. It's a must have for anybody playing multiplayer games!

Love this mic because i like to hear my sound system while gaming with friends. I would insure it though, shelf life for a hard core gamer is 1 year

There are a lot of brands that make Xbox One headsets but I think this one is the best for the money. I also trust the quality over less known brands.

These take a beating so always get the five dollar extended warranty on these, trust me you will most likely use it. Rinse and repeat.

If you play with any sort of regularity (I play probably 6 days a week for various amounts of time), I highly recommend getting a longer lasting, more durable, and better quality mic. I’ve had several of these break within a year of use, whereas my wireless Turtle Beach mic has lasted a year and doesn’t seem to be having any issues whatsoever.

This headset isn't flashy, or isn't feature packed, but if all you want to do is chat with your friends than it gets the job done flawlessly.

Xbox One headset system, including party chat, is just really odd to begin with. Party chat does not work as well as it did on the 360. That aside, the headset is the default headset that comes with the Xbox One. My past one worked for about a year, and I needed to purchase a new one because mind had broken. This headset works for what is needed, chatting. Sound quality is good but has an annoying cord. Overall, decent product but nothing spectacular.

This is a great basic headset from Microsoft which has good sound quality, is lightweight, and comfortable to wear for extended periods of time.

Microsoft has been the leader in controller design for years, but for whatever reason they can't seem to make a chat headset which lasts longer than a year. I ordered this as a replacement for the one which came with the system after it broke (< 1 year old). This has been an ongoing issue for me since the Xbox 360 Headset. It seems no matter how carefully you store your gaming gear, the first party chat headset won't last more than a year or so.

I would recommend this headset. We have used the more expensive ones and they do not last as long.

I like to keep most of the original parts when I buy a system and this headset is the same one that comes with the Xbox One. If you have younger kids and they "accidently" tear things up then this is a great way to replace the headset. Also I recommend the service plan if it is available in your area.

Have had to replace this headset 3 times. Next time I will purchase a headset set from a third party.

This is much better then the earlier version of the microsoft -chat head sets, I went through a couple dozen of the older ones. I bought a couple of the new ones and so far, so good.

Head set gets the job done for communicating with friends if you don't have the money for the more expensive Astros or turtle beaches

I have been very happy with the purchase of the Microsoft Chat Headset for X Box One. The sound quality is great nominated and the mic is very clear. I use this headset every day for long periods of time and I have never encountered any problems with this head set which I have for a few months now.
