In the last 12 months, I have went through many phones hoping to find that perfect all in one. While other devices may let you listen to music, make calls, take pictures & videos not a single one does it better then this phone. My last 2 phones were S3 followed by Iphone 5 used each for over 90 days so I was very familiar with them. Now with that out of the way... SOUND QUALITY : Neither the S3 or I5 come even close to the sound quality this phone can produce, I usually end up using a dedicated music player, with a line out dock & amplifier. Reason I do that is because I use very high end headphones which need to be amped, I have discovered that the amp build into the phone can absolutely do that without distorting sound quality even a little bit. To give an example, the sound equals to Sony Z walkman / ipod touch + amplifier with line out, which by itself is a very bulky thing to carry around not to mention costs about 550$ or so. On top of that, I know people who have massive music libraries, I mean 1TB +, there is a feature on the phone that with the help of an app can let you remotely connect to your computer where you have this music stored & stream like pandora only ... and here is the beauty of it ... do you commute & worry about not having signal to keep your music flowing ? NP, the phone can buffer an amount you want it to, meaning it will keep it in its cache and keep playing even if you are without signal! In short, best sound quality from a phone I have EVER heard and I consider myself an audiophile. SCREEN : I can stand in direct sunlight and still make out everything that is on my screen, its perfect. Colors are not washed out, very vibrant & bright. Especially now during the upcoming cold winter days I love that I can wear GLOVES while using my phone without having to take them off, that is the best thing ever I think haha. CALL QUALITY : I never have to worry about not hearing someone, or them not hearing me, phone is perfect in that sense, I remember a lot of the times I would have to boost the sound on my S3 during a call just to hear someone the same way I hear them on my Nokia 920. CAMERA : I have seen some people complain about the camera quality, I have no idea why ... comparing the pictures to the I5 or S3 the camera is miles ahead, especially videos ... oh man. They come out STUNNING, so much better then anything else. Having this phone with you means never having to worry about bringing a camera, the picture & video quality is fantastic. BUILD & DESIGN : I was always worried a little when I held the I5 or S3 that they might slip out of my hand and fall ... this phone is perfect in that sense, the bottom of it is curved and perfectly fits into your palm, the weight of it reminds you that it is there .... WIRELESS CHARGING : I have noticed that the battery life will last A LOT longer if you charge it wirelessly vs USB, not sure why exactly maybe because it was designed to mainly be charged without wires. BATTERY LIFE : Okay here is my ONLY issue, the first one I got had a problem the battery would die within a few hours, NP exchanged it for a different one & now I can get 15-18 hours of HEAVY use with push notifications and live tiles all turned on to constantly refresh. OS & APPS : While android & apple markets may have more apps, I have not had a situation where I needed an app & couldn't find one on the W8 market ... new ones are literally made every day and as always there are free & paid versions of almost every app. In conclusion, the whole phone is pretty much scratch proof, it works fantastic, I would not trade it for anything else. I did check out the HTC version but was not a fan of it. Nokia just gives you SO much more when it comes to apps & support.

I bought the Lumia 920 and I love it and I highly recommend everyone to give it a try, especially if you plan on purchasing Windows 8. AT&T offers a 14 day exchange, but I have a good feeling you wouldn’t want to give it back after you play with it for a few days. It is the most intuitive phone with rich features out there. Here’s the findings on my new phone: • First things first! The Lumia 920 comes with multiple language options!!! I got my dad one which is great because he can use Traditional Chinese on his phone. I think there are other languages such as Spanish, French, Portuguese, and Korean. Since this is very intuitive phone to use, the additional language is perfect for my parents. • The phone is beautifully designed and grips very well in my hand. The curved gorilla glass is durable and more ergonomic for finger gestures. • The screen resolution is amazing and it’s higher than the retina display. The AMOLED screen along with Clear Black technology along with True Black gives you sharp contrast and richer color. This screen definitely works better in bright daylight as it said it would. • The ultra-sensitive screen also works when I wear gloves on a cold day. No need to take the gloves off, which is nice during cold weather. • The camera quality can’t be beat on this phone. Night time captures without flash is bright and clear and there’s not a phone out there that can do this. The floating lens and image stabilization works wonders when moving. Moving objects are captured without any ghost effect. • There are additional camera features built in for users to easily edit photos and change lens style, etc. • NFC on great for sharing photos, videos or files with friends. In addition, with my Nokia JBL PowerUp speaker, it automatically pairs and charges the phone simply place it on top of the speaker while playing music. • My partner has iTunes, but with the companion software, it imports all of his playlists, music, photos, and other contents effortlessly. • I really like the Nokia Drive+ navigation software. It’s free and works perfectly. I like the option where I can download the maps locally so it doesn’t have to rely on internet connectivity. The software also comes with downloadable voice guiding options in many languages! In addition, you can select voice of male or female, depending on your preference. • Everything I have is accessible via the SkyDrive, including documents where I can edit directly on my phone using the built in Office apps. I keep my shopping list so it's always updated either from my phone, tablet, or home computer. Photos are automatically uploaded to SkyDrive so there's no need to connect the camera to my PC. • If you get this phone, definitely check out the accessories!!! I got the black Nokia JBL PowerUp speakers. Amazing surround sound and the phone is Dolby certified. The PowerUp actually charges my phone as I use it.

The best mobile phone in the market now

I have an Iphone 4 and Samsug Galaxay Note. The problem with these phones are not personalities. They all looks exact same with UI. Iphone screen is way too small for me to read web sites. Samsug Galaxay Note does have a much bigger screen. But it got hang from time to time and have to restart each time to fix the hang. I can not take any pictures in the low light. It simply give me a black screen in the low light and it does not have any stablizer. Went to San Fransico a few month ago, the naviagtion is not good. If got disconnect from ATT, I got no map. Lumia 920 has a build-in navigation system and can guide me off line. Here are Lumia 920 can give me while Iphone 5 and Samsug Galaxacy can NOT Give to me: 1. The best camera and HD video with stablizer. 2. The best low light camera in all mobile phones. 3. City Lens which can help to find restaurants, shops, hotels in a strange city. 4. Nokia drive can be used in offline mode without need to connect to ATT. 5. Free Microsoft Office suite with Outlook, spreadsheet, etc 6. sensitive screen can be touched with glove on. especially useful for cold winter. 7. kids corner which allow your kids to play on your phone without remove anythings from your phone. 8. Very beautiful screen with live tiles and I can personalize my screens. 9. Web accesses are compressed up to 45% and can save data plan a big time. 10. Extremely durable and unbreakable. I accidentally dropped my Iphone and its front screen cracked completely. But, I see on a youtube, someone used a big nail and hammer and used the hammer to hit the nail on the Lumia screen and he hit it 10 times and no damage on the Lumia screen. is this amazing. My Samsug phone has a very thin back cover. I have to buy a protective cover for it as soon as I bought it. Nokia Lumia come with a beautiful cover and it is unbreakable.

Been using this phone now for 3 weeks: 1) Phone just looks awesome. Heavier then most, but the gentle curve of the back just nestles perfectly in my palm. The weight feels good. Like it's something expensive. 2) Call quality: EXCELLENT. Main function of the phone. Call quality is crystal clear. 3) Wireless Charging. Some say this is a gimmick, but I like it a lot. Use my cell phone as an alarm in the morning. No longer have to fumble with wires in the dark. 4) Screen: nice, big. and bright. Can see great outside. Screen scrolls so smooth. Like gliding on ice. Smooth 5) Nokia Drive. Maybe not as good as Google, but hasn't led me wrong yet. Turn by turn navigation. The BIG plus: download entire state maps for offline navigation. No longer have to worry about having a signal when lost in the middle of the country or back roads. 5) Live Tiles: I like that it updates news, facebook, sport scores, stock quotes every 30 minutes. 6) Camera: Not as good as a dedicated camera... but pretty darn close. 7) Price: $99 is just crazy cheap. Plus I got a free charging plate and Nokia ear buds? That's just crazy cheap. 8) Need more apps. Now honestly I only really use 6-7 main apps and most are on Windows Phone 8 already. But smaller apps are not. Of course just pin the website to my front screen. Almost as good as an "app". 9) I have no problems with battery life, but keep my NFC, bluetooth, and GPS generally off. 10) NOKIA Music: Better then Pandora. Lets you download and listen to music OFFLINE. No commercials. It's Free. How Nokia do this? 11) Nokia Exclusive Apps: Apps like PhotoBeam. This is the most amazing app I have ever seen on ANY smartphone. CityLens can be useful too. Photo Smart is nice. 12) This phone just doesn't break or even scratch. Been now three weeks. Dropped it a few times. I carry it in my pocket WITHOUT a protective case: not one scratch or dent! 13) Works with my Google Calender and Gmail 14) Very social media friendly. My wife has her own Live Tile. I can see what she's doing. Call her, text her, email just by one simple touch. 15) Hands-free Bluetooth texting while driving. Don't know if iphone has this but my Android 4.x didn't. While driving my bluetooth system will read the text and give me the option to verbally replay. Basically it will type the text for me and send it. Goes through my car bluetooth system. Very handy.

    Switched from Android, Quite Impressed!

Well, I have been a loyal android customer since my first Motorola Backflip(worst phone ever) through my galaxy s 1, to the ATRIX HD. I have only had a couple windows phones in the past (Samsung Blackjack II, and then the HTC Surround). This Nokia may have converted me. Now for the Positives- The Lumia 920 is a different world entirely from those old windows phones. The thing I hated most about older windows phones was the Zune tie-in. I have multiple Ipods, so all of my music is neatly organized in Itunes. The old windows phones would require you to install zune on your pc, then reorganize all of your music, photos, ect. using windows libraries. All that nonsense is GONE! The new windows phones integrate with Itunes flawlessly, so no wasted time putting together music and such. The UI is neat, and easily manipulated to suit your needs. The level of integration with apps in the os is incredible (meaning the way things work together in the foreground and background without crashing, slowing, or mixing up). The camera is great as well, and requires little effort to take a great picture. Another amazing feature Nokia integrated into the Lumia 920 is the ability to charge wirelessly. I purchased the DT-900 charging plate from amazon, and I can charge my phone wire-free without a bulky case, just set it on the pad, and it begins to charge. The phone part of it works very well. The look and feel of the device is high end, doesn't feel cheep and plasticy like some of my old Androids. Works more effortlessly than my girlfriend's Iphone 4s(which is sooo much slower, and can't make a phone call from in my house... in the city!) OH! almost forgot, over 20 gigs of free space built into the device. Now the negative couple of things- The apps(or lack-thereof) are underwhelming. Most of the big, most popular, apps are there, but they don't feel the same as Android. The windows store app is not very good at searching, and sorting specificities. Android Interfaces and settings are MUCH more customizable than Windows Phone 8. Other than that, the battery is only so-so, but better than my last phone(Motorola ATRIX HD with 4.1 Jellybean). The speaker is on the bottom, which is good for speakerphoning, but terrible for gaming/video watching(my hand covers up the speaker when turned sideways, and completely muffles it). I have no other complaints about this wonderful device, and I would buy another new Nokia based on my happiness with this one.

This is the device that I have been desired for a long time. I got it a few days ago, I love it dearly. My previous phone including Iphone 4s then Galaxy Nexus III until this one. Lumia 920 is the ultimate device. The NOKIA LUMIA 920 has many 1st in the world of smartphones. Here they are: 1. The 1st optical image stabilization with Carl Zeiss optics/ low light camera in a smartphone 2. The 1st super sensitive screen that can be used with glove in a smartphone 3. The 1st 60 fps screen refresh rate in a smartphone 4. The 1st wireless charging smartphone 5. The 1st Virtual reality City Lens. Hardware: A-gps + GLONASS (Seven years ago NOKIA introduced the world’s first smartphone with GPS and navigation. Now, Nokia Lumia 920 and Nokia Lumia 820 are introducing the first autonomously assisted GPS and GLONASS receivers) 6. The 1st 4G/ LTE supported ? 7. Maybe the 1st smartphone that you can throw against a concrete wall, and it still works (b/c of its Corning Gorilla Glass 2 and poly-carbonate body) What else: Active noise cancellation with dedicated mic, rich audio recording, Dolby stereo sound, luxury hot design award, Wifi N-dual band, NOKIA maps and drive to travel the world, free NOKIA music... more. This kind of phone don't come around very often (like NOKIA 808). Who knows perhaps in the next version, Nokia might not use some or all of the above technologies trying to make their phone much thinner and lighter. All of the above incorporated into 50g to the phone which is very worthy for me to buy. Other people might think it is not for them, it is their personal preference. Therefore, we should respect their choice.

Having had in the past HTC's, Nokia N81 unlocked(which was my favorite and in my opinion the most advanced at the time, expect for iPhones keyless keyboard) iPhones and Samsung galaxy2. I was in the market for an upgrade. Judging from past experiences and researching and reading reviews...I knew I didn't want another iPhone, as many have said not much innovation thru the years(my Nokia N81 had video calling 6yrs ago even thou no carriers in the USA provided the service)yes some tweaks here and there, yes they are lighter but most definitely more fragile. I see many people walking around with cracked screens especially iPhones and galaxy 3s, the one great thing about the iPhone 3GS was it's build and quality it can take a beating and not break. I was very close to purchasing a galaxy 3 nice looking screen good sound better than iphone 5 in my opnion, but something about the build didn't quite convince me so I decided to wait for the Nokia Lumia 920 and check it out (wasn't ever interested in Samsungs Note 2, way to large). I'm glad I waited for the 920 It feels like a premium device it reminds me of the iPhone 3GS great quality, the screen is beautiful, the color options are great(got a yellow one), Windows 8 OS works great for me the live tiles are a breath of fresh air you run you finger along the screen everything has a smooth feel, great speakers, the Nokia apps are great Nokia music pretty much unlimited music, Nokia city lens is an innovative app, Nokia offline GPS app and on are all free. NFC, Yes finally wireless charging, I lost count of how many chargers I've purchased for my Iphone. Last but not least...the camera it's awesome in dark light conditions its like magic you can't believe it, and it shoots great videos as well with image stabilization...having kids this phone is great don't have to worry about carrying a separate camera. Some people say the 920 might be on the hefty side, but if you put a case on your phone the weight is about the same, the 920 doesn't need a case checkout the YouTube videos out there. The App Store doesn't have nearly as many apps available that you can get on a iPhone or Android stores, but I have most of what I need. The OS is new so more apps will be available soon, I can see the difference in the month I've had the device they've multiplied. Some minor things might need to be tweaked with the OS, but I've been getting updates which is good, they seem to be addressing the issues.

This amazing phone hands down beats whatever phones are out in the market today. With its great screen at 4.7 inches and at 1280 x 768 it beats the iPhone 5, Galaxy sIII and any other contenders out there. With the new Qi standard it ensures that you do not have to just buy the Lumia wireless charging mats and can go at a more affordable option, and by doing so is allowing wireless charging to be a better method of charging overall by all of our products. Amazing 8.7 with equally amazing stability feature that really does make a difference when taking photos, including in low light. So many amazing features downloading of entire cities to use nokia maps (for free) turn by turn navigation without using any data, the use of nokia city lens to look around and get directions and easy access to the places around your city, high contrast settings so you no longer have to squint to see whats on your phone on direct sunlight or in the snow, as well as super sensitive touch that you can use a glove a fork your keys anything, truly makes this device worth wating for. Its time to switch.

    One of the Greatest Phones

    Posted

Let me start with the weight... it is heavier than iphone 5 and S3... But I got used to this in a few hours and let me tell you, I love the way they made this phone... This product has a great finish, it makes other phones look naked... In fact there is no need for you to dress it up with protective case, while with others you have to... This phone is literally unbreakable... I have great confidence carrying it around, and I believe this product is going to last really long... That is something which comes only with a Nokia phone... The apps, except Live Sports 24 Formula one app, I found all the apps that I use daily in the app store... Camera, the best out there, because it gives you quality pictures, something you can't get with just increasing the mega pixels... Live tiles are great, I absolutely love them... Battery life:- mine lasts for more than a day, I have the NFC turned off, and I only turn it on when needed... Please remember to fully charge it before using or activating it... Speaker quality:- Absolutely fantastic... OS:- Very efficient and smooth... Features:- I like to add here something about the Office 360, Nokia maps, Cloud feature, Memory, Pure view... No other phones out there provides you with such a combination of quality features like Lumia 920... The only thing that concerns me is the low inventory AT&T is holding... My first Lumia 920 (Red) was shipped 2 days after I ordered and reached me in 3 days... The second one (Matte Cyan) took 10 days to get shipped and it will reach me this Wednesday... Potential buyers, there is only one thing I want to tell you... This phone is amazing and you will never regret buying it...

    Not a Good Value

    CallMeMaybe

I wanted to like it, I really did. I just purchased a new Win8 computer and figured I would upgrade my phone to the Lumia 920 in the spirit of homogeneity. Let me tell you that doing so was a HORRIBLE idea - where to start. Weight - this brick, I mean phone, tips the scales at a cool 185 grams, compared to the 133 gram Galaxy S3 or 140 gram iPhone 4S. When asked why it weighed so much, the salesman told me it was because the phone is made from the same composite as is astronaut helmets. Nice - I can now sleep better knowing that if the Mayans are right, at least my Lumia 920 is prepared for its journey through the cosmos. To all my skinny jean wearing hipsters, you and this phone simply cannot be – the sheer size and mass of it make it a nightmare to carry in regular sized pants, I can’t even imagine the kind of dances you’ll do to get the Lumia in and out of your jeggings pockets. This brick could be a safety hazard if one of these crazy youths tries to rob me on his way to Hot Topic, though my Lumia could possibly double as a shield, or even a weapon if I decided to shotput at my assailant. Onto the UI – wow, anyone who says the apps are incredible must be kidding. Moving past the fact that google refuses to create apps for the Win8 OS, none of the apps that are built for this phone are designed by their actual developers. Facebook is a Microsoft app, Whatsapp doesn’t even exist, the Pandora app is a blog about the music on Pandora – sweet, nothing satiates my hunger for The Jonas Brothers or Biggie Smalls like the words of Joe and Jane Smith as they opine on hottest 1950’s Christmas album. What few games they do have, i.e. angry birds, looks like they have been shrunk down from a tv screen onto my phone. The aspect ratio is atrocious, not to mention that for me to download anything, I have to use my Hotmail account that I opened and retired when I was in fifth grade – which may be a real selling point for the hipsters as eclectic/old school schwag is all the rage these days. As per the screen size … the phone may be huge but a good portion of it is cannibalized by the bezel , again probably some brilliant innovation necessary to make the phone more functional as I use it to fend off attacks but not when I want to compose documents in MS office, which is a function I will NEVER use on my phone. But our friends at Nokia were smart enough to include a wireless charger, this was a HUGE plus, I find that plugging my phone into the wall while I sleep at night is cumbersome AND tedious. Corded phones chargers are so 2010 – what are we still using the rotary phones here? Think of all the extra things I can do now that I don’t have to plug my brick into the wall! At about 6 hours of battery life, I know that whatever charging device I get is going to get plenty of love. So that’s it, this phone is horrible. Anyone who says otherwise is either crazy, or is finally making the upgrade from their Razor flip phone. Keep up the good work Nokia, you’ve successfully kept old school by giving us those features we expected in 2005.

Great hardware with a refreshing OS

I've had this phone for over six months now and find it very user friendly and refreshing. The live tiles really allows me to see all important details of my life at a glance, without having to open any apps. Using the largest live tiles shows the content of the latest notification (email, sms, etc) so it saves time. The camera technology is much better and the night shots I have taken (hand-held without flash) come closer to those taken with my expensive digital SLR than any other phone I have experienced. I have a battery app that keeps track of many items including average time between charges and I am at 13.6 hours (about 4 months of data). The entire suite of Here apps are really great and useful. I was able to find everything easily during a recent visit to California. The People hub is really nice and makes it easy to keep up with your frequent contacts and what they are doing on various social networks all in one place. It's easier to see any new pictures posted by someone using the Hub than by going to Facebook, for example. The weight of the phone is not really an issue - it's only heavy relative to some other phones but feels fine after a couple of days of use. It's definitely more sturdy than others. I have dropped mine on hard tile (no case, of course!) from head height and there is absolutely no damage. My friends who got a Galaxy or an iPhone at the same time either have already cracked their screens or have massive cases. I find it much easier to carry in my pocket without a case and without having to worry about damaging it due to accidental drops. Finally, having free Microsoft Office including One Note and SkyDrive is great. I take notes using OneNote in SkyDrive that is shared among the family. This and other family-friendly features such as Family Room and Groups make it much easier to manage today's hectic family life.

One of the best phones that I have owned. If you are looking for something new or wanting to continue with the platform, this is probably the best bang for the buck. The camera alone is one of the best out in the market, and the image stabilization on a phone is really useful when you don't have your dedicated video camera handy but still want to take quality video. Low light capabilities really blow all of the other phones out of water. The phone reviews always harp on the heft of the phone but honestly, if you encase your phone in any sort of otter box or decent case, its about the same weight, and honestly, this phone doesn't need a case because of the really solid build. Skydrive is super easy to use for moving music / video and documents and its all baked into the OS. Facebook and twitter don't need separate apps as you can setup hubs and groups and actually just see posts and or updates from specific people just by going to one place without having to launch separate apps. The ability to cycle different lock screens along with any sort of update information is really neat. If you want weather updates, you don't even need to unlock your phone. If you need FB updates, you can have those pushed there as well. The Kidzone portion of the OS is a stroke of genius if you have kids that like playing games on your phone. You can hand over your phone to them so they can play the games, without them having access to your emails / documents or pretty much anything you don't want to give them access to and they can have something to do while waiting in line or whatever. Finally the phone itself is a great phone as far as call quality and being able to text people if you are in the middle of a meeting with preset responses, is really convenient and you can continue with minimal interruptions. Nokia has a great reputation for quality phones and this is sticks along with their tradition.

After a few days, so far so good with the new 920. I like Windows 8 and the performance and user experience with the phone is great. Voice quality is superb. The phone is beautiful. The camera seems top-notch. To people who think the phone is too heavy? You're wimps! It's solid, and the build quality is excellent. Compare it to some of the other vendors who offer plastic models and see who breaks first? I'm in the process of seeing how many of my Lumia 900 Windows 7.5 apps run as is or have been ported to run on Windows 8. Of course, the app ecosystem may be the weakest link, but that will be improving daily as adoption grows. And how many apps does one really need? We'll see. So far I've seemed to have been able to find apps for all of my needs (and then some#. The 32Gb local storage should be sufficient for all of my apps, photos, music, and videos which I might choose to store locally on the device. I also have 7Gb of Skydrive space, but I expect Microsoft to increase that over time, as needed. I'm not sure how much I'll be storing on the cloud. Wifi connectivity is a breeze at home and already at a friend's house. I'm going to pair the device to my local computer via bluetooth, as well as to my SmartTV. Bluetooth works great in my car and all of my contact information is synched correctly. The synchronized social media aspects of the phone #e.g. LinkedIn, Facebook) also all work perfectly. There is still much to learn about WP 8 and this new Nokia hardware combination. So far, soooo good. Well done, Nokia!

Great "biffie" phone. I was originally going for the Android Samsung galaxy SIII but a friend sold me into this one. Its a great phone and amazing value for the money (bought 2 for half the Iphone 5). Syncs up with my win8 laptop as well as with my apple system using an app for mac. Easy to load music, blazing fast, hefty but with a very solid (almost indestructible) feel. I have big hands and it was too big at the beginning coming from a (tiny) Iphone 3gs. The camera take great pictures, almost perfect in day light. It is not the best at night but hey, It's a phone, right? I wish the software that manages the camera deal better with saturation. while the camera has a lot of settings like shutter speed, temp filters, etc, it is a bit over saturated. Nothing that any app like PS express will not fix, so not a biggie. I also hope the make better the music/video player, it does not have a slider to FF or REW a song or video which makes it weird, nothing that a firmware update ( I hope) could not fix. All around a great phone, I really wish ATT will bring to the US the Lumia 808 with its magnificent 41MP camera, until then this will do perfectly. Nokia lens, the gps, all good apps. Great phone all around.

The Lumia is a beautiful phone that really makes Windows 8 look nice. I have W8 on both my laptop and my phone, and while it is certainly functional on both, (especially after the Windows 8.1 update that allows you to skip the start screen) it is much more suitable and useful on a phone than on a computer. The phone is pretty easy to figure out, not as simple as a non-data phone, but still manageable. Calls and music sound good on it, and it's customizability allows for you to personalize it's looks in almost anyway you wish. My only complaints about the phone so far are as follows: 1) because Windows phones are relatively new, accessories for them are not as widely sold as they are for say, the iPhone or the Galaxy 2) for this same reason, there are not as many apps for this phone as for apple and android devices 3) if you are updating from an older phone, you may have to update your contacts manually, as the sim cards will likely not be interchangeable. The phone can sync with Facebook or other contact lists such as hotmail and gmail, but if your contacts don't already show their phone numbers in those places, you will have to add them yourself. It is also important to note that if you prefer phones with keyboards to touch screens, this phone will do nothing to change that perception. It does have a pretty high quality text predictor though, which will ease the transition. All in all, it's a great phone that will probably improve as more options for it are made available. Recommended.

Can't say how much I am love this phone. I have done much research and was leaning towards a iPhone but am so glad that I got this phone instead. I was looking to get the cyan version but it wasn't in store and had a bit of a backorder time. After looking at the black model I felt that it was a very classy color. Everyone has been reviewing this phone based on the camera and all I can say is it blows away any of the IPhone or Androids that my family and friends have. In low light this thing really performs. The sound quality of the calls and the music is also very nice. Battery life is basically very good, but I wish that AT&T hadn't messed around with the menu. I live in an area where my phones tend to switch between 4g and edge which if you don't know is hard on a phones battery. I have just been switching off my cellular connection at home seeing that I am on Wi-Fi there. On the unlocked international version it is my understanding that if you want to pick your connection manually you can. The build quality of this phone is outstanding and as for me I love the feel even if it is a bit heavier than some other phones out there. Also, seems to have a screen that stands up very well to bright sunlight outdoors. I have to thank my daughter for pushing me in this direction.

At last, I got convinced to upgrade from Lumia 900 to Lumia 920 to use the great Windows phone 8 OS features. More RAM (1 GB vs 512 MB), More storage (32 GB vs 16 GB), Dual core Processor in Lumia 920 compared to Lumia 900 pulled me into this phone. The resolution 1,280 x 768 is great to view videos & pictures with perfect zoom in clarity. We can record video in 1080p resolution so I no longer need to worry about missing camera when we are traveling out for local trips. It is little heavy (15 gms more than 900) but looks sturdy compared to 900. The display is PureMotion HD+ in 920 compared to AMOLED in 900. I mainly use it for Calls, Apps. I don't text at all so sorry that I cannot share my review on ease of texting. I use Outlook a lot (When I'm not at my desk, I never felt that I'm missing my emails... Outlook integrated with Excel, Powerpoint is a great plus in Windows phone#.. Nokia Drive helps me with cutting down the purchase of a GPS.. Lot of XBOX games with me #Be sure to look for special free games.. Install AppDeals app from Windows Phone market place which gives you daily deals on some of apps which may be free for some time).. I also use Skype a lot and it works so great. Kindle, Weather.com, Adobe reader, Banking apps for mobile check deposits, FourSquare, Twitter and of course FB are few of my most used apps. There is also a front facing camera compared to Lumia 900.. Batter life has been perfect to me. Wifi and LTE works great. Haven't used Tethering yet so can't comment on that.. IE works great in browing websites but there is no Flash support.. Overall, a great phone for Official and personal use.

After looking at the iPhone 5 and the Samsung Galaxy S3, I felt this phone was right for me. I'm an analytical, so I compared specs carefully and it warranted me to try it. It felt more solid than the other two. The screen was really sharp and the design quality was flawless. iPhone was a close second, but besides stretching it out, there wasn't anything really new about it. The S3 was ok, but Android is looking a little boring as well and it didn't feel as solid as the other two. It's a little heavy and thick. It could be thinner, but it still fits into a front jeans pocket without any issue. I guess I don't mind the weight because the camera really is as good as the hype. The extra apps Nokia includes - especially the Nokia Drive and 3D City Lens are really cool. I haven't even used the rest yet, but they all seem like premium apps, not just fluff pre-installed. For work, I need office apps and of course this works flawlessly. The Skydrive integration is a really nice touch. Nokia makes a really solid, high quality phone. Arguably the best phone available now.

Phone is just the best around. Great pic and video quality, very solid case and screen won't scratch. To me the size is just right. And the WP8 OS is the other 50% of the equation. Lots of features fm both Microsoft and Nokia, including (pay attention parents out there) "Kid's Corner", which is a WP8 feature in which you can select just apps and/or videos and/or games and children won't have access to the rest of the phone. I personally have many cartoons for my kids and all I need to do is just swipe my finger from the right to the left on the Lock Screen to get into Kid's Corner zone. Then unlock the phone and give the device to the children so they can pick the cartoon they want without any problem to the rest of the phone. Really like the device as a whole. Highly recommended. The ONLY problem is that in my area the AT&T towers don't work very well, so I have a lot of incoming calls that don't reach the device (meaning people call, hear the ring but on my phone there isn't even a sign of "Missed Call"). Also calls drop several times. I already know this is an AT&T issue because I called them, exchanged the phone etc and they told me that technical people are aware of the problem and are doing everything they can to solve it as soon as possible. If it's true or not, it's another problem. I guess if you're in a place where AT&T cell service is better then you'll be able to not experience most of the problems that I do and, consequently, won't blame neither Nokia nor Microsoft.
