Great "biffie" phone. I was originally going for the Android Samsung galaxy SIII but a friend sold me into this one. Its a great phone and amazing value for the money (bought 2 for half the Iphone 5). Syncs up with my win8 laptop as well as with my apple system using an app for mac. Easy to load music, blazing fast, hefty but with a very solid (almost indestructible) feel. I have big hands and it was too big at the beginning coming from a (tiny) Iphone 3gs. The camera take great pictures, almost perfect in day light. It is not the best at night but hey, It's a phone, right? I wish the software that manages the camera deal better with saturation. while the camera has a lot of settings like shutter speed, temp filters, etc, it is a bit over saturated. Nothing that any app like PS express will not fix, so not a biggie. I also hope the make better the music/video player, it does not have a slider to FF or REW a song or video which makes it weird, nothing that a firmware update ( I hope) could not fix. All around a great phone, I really wish ATT will bring to the US the Lumia 808 with its magnificent 41MP camera, until then this will do perfectly. Nokia lens, the gps, all good apps. Great phone all around.

Phone is just the best around. Great pic and video quality, very solid case and screen won't scratch. To me the size is just right. And the WP8 OS is the other 50% of the equation. Lots of features fm both Microsoft and Nokia, including (pay attention parents out there) "Kid's Corner", which is a WP8 feature in which you can select just apps and/or videos and/or games and children won't have access to the rest of the phone. I personally have many cartoons for my kids and all I need to do is just swipe my finger from the right to the left on the Lock Screen to get into Kid's Corner zone. Then unlock the phone and give the device to the children so they can pick the cartoon they want without any problem to the rest of the phone. Really like the device as a whole. Highly recommended. The ONLY problem is that in my area the AT&T towers don't work very well, so I have a lot of incoming calls that don't reach the device (meaning people call, hear the ring but on my phone there isn't even a sign of "Missed Call"). Also calls drop several times. I already know this is an AT&T issue because I called them, exchanged the phone etc and they told me that technical people are aware of the problem and are doing everything they can to solve it as soon as possible. If it's true or not, it's another problem. I guess if you're in a place where AT&T cell service is better then you'll be able to not experience most of the problems that I do and, consequently, won't blame neither Nokia nor Microsoft.

I went from iPhone (for 3 years) to Windows Phone 8. The OS is super smooth, integration with Windows 8 and Xbox is nice, the screen size is large which is great, and the camera takes amazing pictures (compared to every other phone I've used). The price point is definitely affordable. It has 32GB storage, is cheaper than the other Windows 8 Phone, and the most powerful W8 Phone out there. *This phone is only on AT&T though.

This is my first smartphone and I love it. It took me a while to decide if i wanted an android, apple or windows phone. Glad I went with the windows phone. The pictures and screen are amazing. I showed it to a person that loves the iphone thought that she may have to by my phone as she loved the resolution and size of the screen. The phone stays charged for a long time but when it dies it dies quick. I can goes days without charging it. It is a little heavy but it feels solid. Not sure if I like the battery and storage being intergrated in the phone but it has worked awesome so far. I bought it about a month ago and just can't say enough good things about it.

I traded my iPhone 5 for this phone because I had two bad phones in less than a month. My iPhone 4 worked flawlessly. I don't know what apple did to the 5 to make it not as great, but they did something. I chose this phone because I liked the specs and I had played with it a little and thought it had potential. And I still think it has a lot of potential to be the best phone on the market. My only complaints are the battery seems inconsistent. Some days the charge will last all day and then some. Other days, it seems like it goes down really fast. I think the internet browser needs a little bit of polishing. I like the safari browser a little better, but this can be fixed with a software update. The Facebook app needs a little work too. It's not bad, just not quite as good as the iPhone. I love the camera and the features that come with it. Nokia's maps and other apps seem to be pretty awesome. I like the live tiles, but I would like just a little more customization there, but you don't get that at all on the iPhone. All in all, I'm very happy I made the switch. I think this phone will only get better over time. It's really in its infancy right now, so I see great things to come.

I have been a fan of Windows Phone since it was birthed but the Nokia Lumia 920 brings great value to the operating system. The Camera produces amazing quality pictures. But my most important feature is the battery life. I use this phone primarily for business. Battery is very important as this phone is a requirement to do my job. Being able to charge overnight and having the phone last an entire work day with battery left over for after word play is the biggest value to me. (Subject to not using the GPS, which will drain the battery faster). The live tiles and crisp display make it fast for me to get "at a glance" view of my workday. And of course, having games during my downtime is always great. My Xbox LIVE friends get jealous because I get gamer points from my Windows Phone games and they don't because they have an iOS or Android device. Prior to Windows Phone I was an android fan. Now, I'll never go back to Google. Microsoft and Nokia, Take my money!

Isn't it ironic that all that R&D goes into designing these beautiful phones that are too fragile for everyday use? So we buy these ugly cases so we don't trash them. Not an issue with the Nokia 920. Between Nokia's legendary tough build to the new Gorilla Glass 2 this thing just doesn't scratch. Go ahead and leave it in your pocket with the car keys, it just isn't an issue. iPhone users perk up when they see the screen clarity and vibrant colors. And the camera quality is superb. If you're not currently using the Windows OS you should be. Drop dead simple, well thought-out, and intuitive, it's just works beautifully. Live tiles that constantly update with useful info that you customize to your interests, right in front of you at a glance...if you don't have it you're missing out. I'm not downloading a lot of content so I can't speak to battery life in that context, but for having my whole life on this phone, social networking, numerous texts and less commonly direct calls it hangs in fine. I rarely use more than 50% over a long day. Best phone I've had to date. No iPhone/Android envy here.

When I was looking to replace my phone, I read somewhere that the Nokia Lumia was possibly the best smart phone currently on the market, now that I own one, I have to say they are probably right. The screen is very large, but the phone isn't bulky or heavy. The camera is the best I've seen on a phone, as far as resolution and blur reduction. I don't talk on the phone a lot so I can actually go up to 4 days without having to charge it, unlike my old HTC that I had to charge practically every day. One downfall, which doesn't bother me that much because I'm not a big app-user, but some people might have a problem with this is that there isn't as large of a selection of apps for Windows as there is for Android/iPhones right, but I don't think that will be a problem for long.

One of the best phones that I have owned. If you are looking for something new or wanting to continue with the platform, this is probably the best bang for the buck. The camera alone is one of the best out in the market, and the image stabilization on a phone is really useful when you don't have your dedicated video camera handy but still want to take quality video. Low light capabilities really blow all of the other phones out of water. The phone reviews always harp on the heft of the phone but honestly, if you encase your phone in any sort of otter box or decent case, its about the same weight, and honestly, this phone doesn't need a case because of the really solid build. Skydrive is super easy to use for moving music / video and documents and its all baked into the OS. Facebook and twitter don't need separate apps as you can setup hubs and groups and actually just see posts and or updates from specific people just by going to one place without having to launch separate apps. The ability to cycle different lock screens along with any sort of update information is really neat. If you want weather updates, you don't even need to unlock your phone. If you need FB updates, you can have those pushed there as well. The Kidzone portion of the OS is a stroke of genius if you have kids that like playing games on your phone. You can hand over your phone to them so they can play the games, without them having access to your emails / documents or pretty much anything you don't want to give them access to and they can have something to do while waiting in line or whatever. Finally the phone itself is a great phone as far as call quality and being able to text people if you are in the middle of a meeting with preset responses, is really convenient and you can continue with minimal interruptions. Nokia has a great reputation for quality phones and this is sticks along with their tradition.

The Nokia Lumia 920 is a great overall smart phone. Windows 8 phone live tiles let you choose three different sizes and keeps you connected to ALL the people and fan sites on your networks. A large number of free apps like voxer, eBay and Adobe make this a great work phone too. Xbox live lives on this phone with the ability to use your gamertag and add more gamer score with a number of free games and many more games under $10. Speakers work great for the size of the phone, video is clear and the camera works better then most 8 megapixel camera point and click, also 16 Gigabits of memory makes having mp3s easy.

I love the fluid OS going from application to application is seem less. Texting to going back through your history is easy, and the screen is very responsive with complements it all. The phone feels solid, the camera works great even at night its remarkable. After months of use I have to say the overall feel, look, and use of the phone is excellent, I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a solid phone.

The Nokia Lumia 920 is a great mobile phone - a great improvement over my previous Windows Phone. The screen is a good size, very easy to read and work with. User features are faster and more friendly. The Carl Zeiss camera produces excellent pictures. Having a camera on both sides of the phone is wonderful. On the downside - this phone is not as easy to use with the Bluetooth music player in my car, but the Bluetooth interface for making calls is great. I like my Nokia Lumia 920 Windows Phone!

Better then my iPhone or galaxy note I had. Windows 8 is so smooth, the camera has apps and takes great pics, battery could last longer, but they are all like it. I will buy the same phone if this one ever breaks for good, but I have the protection plan so I prob have my last phone for years to come.

This is my first smart phone, so it took a little getting used to, but I love it. The camera has pretty much replaced my digital camera. Windows 8 is easy to use on the phone and flows nicely. I'm pretty hard on phones and it seems very durable.

Lumia really shows off what Windows is meant to be

The Lumia is a beautiful phone that really makes Windows 8 look nice. I have W8 on both my laptop and my phone, and while it is certainly functional on both, (especially after the Windows 8.1 update that allows you to skip the start screen) it is much more suitable and useful on a phone than on a computer. The phone is pretty easy to figure out, not as simple as a non-data phone, but still manageable. Calls and music sound good on it, and it's customizability allows for you to personalize it's looks in almost anyway you wish. My only complaints about the phone so far are as follows: 1) because Windows phones are relatively new, accessories for them are not as widely sold as they are for say, the iPhone or the Galaxy 2) for this same reason, there are not as many apps for this phone as for apple and android devices 3) if you are updating from an older phone, you may have to update your contacts manually, as the sim cards will likely not be interchangeable. The phone can sync with Facebook or other contact lists such as hotmail and gmail, but if your contacts don't already show their phone numbers in those places, you will have to add them yourself. It is also important to note that if you prefer phones with keyboards to touch screens, this phone will do nothing to change that perception. It does have a pretty high quality text predictor though, which will ease the transition. All in all, it's a great phone that will probably improve as more options for it are made available. Recommended.

I've been using thus phone since it came out and I must say I'm blown away. It's fast, simple, reliable, the software just flows naturally from one task to the next, it comes with Microsoft Office Word, Powerpoint, Excell, One Note, it syncs with my Windows 8 PCs, and plugs into my Xbox live game account. What's not to love. I only wish that it had a microSD expansion so that I could add more storage, but for most people the built in 32GB will be plenty. This phone and those like it to come are the next big thing, I can already tell. Way too awesome!

First phone I got was broken - had to send it back. Next one took a while to get it working correctly but that was my fault as this is my first smart phone. Once I got used to it, I love it now. Really like the docking plate for charging. The one down side is that the hands free SYNC on my Ford truck has a record of locking up the phone. Then the phone has to be rebooted to release the call. A real bother. Plus I did not know how to reboot the phone (You can't remove the battery - it is hard wired inside). Finally a co-worker showed me how to reboot the silly thing. Something that I have had to do often when using this phone with SYNC. There are no instruction manuals with these phones.
