Disclaimer: I love this laptop and want to keep it for years to come, but i had to return mine because of a defective wifi card :( Outstanding features: Build quality matches the mac book pro. 3:2 aspect ratio is honestly the best screen ratio for productivity and only con is if you dislike the black bars while watching videos on youtube or netflix. Single hand open, personally don't care but its nice Colorful touch display, if you want touch great, if not its nice to have 10th gen processor, just the i5 better performance than 8th gen i7, better wifi speeds (IF IT WORKED >:c) Larger better smooth touch pad comfortable keyboard usbc finally upgradable storage Downsides: Expensive as is for the specs, and even more expensive for higher tier model, like 300 dollars extra for and extra 128 ssd is literally robbery. In other words bad value for specs. Cant upgrade ram, if you want 16gb for future proofing then you need to shell out 1600+tax 10th gen i7 is not a huge jump in performance from 10th gen i5 no thunderbolt three Overall: Still an amazing premium laptop that is worth buying during sales. Definitely not a power user laptop. Regular use is perfectly fine. Wish my model had a working wifi card :c, I got a replacement but in a different color than I preferred

Having always used Toshiba Laptops, I was skeptical to buy another brand. I Recently, bought a 15 inch Dell Laptop, but returned it. I researched and was able to look into the Surface Laptop3. It’s not flimsy and is well built. I have not regretted my decision. It has worked as promised. As soon as you turn it on, you can log in. No bloatware came with it, so set up was quick and easy. The keyboard and trackpad are some of the best I’ve ever used. Laptop is slim and light weight. You also can’t beat the display and touch screen. I have not tried the surface pen yet. Now for the only issue I have encountered with this buy. The only issue is the battery does not last as advertised. I am only using if for email, Office, web surfing and college work. So if you need a quality Windows laptop that compares to an Apple air , this will certainly meet your needs. It’s an ultra portable workhorse.

This laptop has been amazing! As an educator is does EVERYTHING I need it to do! It works fast! And it’s so easy to understand! The size is perfect for caring around! The speaker and sound is exceptional! And the graphics are really good! The battery lasts a good amount as well. With virtual learning and having to do literally everything on the laptop this was definitely the best choice!

I love this laptop! It is super thin and light but somehow manages to feel solid. Beautiful fit and finish, the laptop in black doesn't look like any other black laptop. The best part of this laptop is the feel of the keyboard and the trackpad. The soft clicks are perfectly executed on both! Two complaints are that there is only one USB port and there is no SD slot. Other than that I love this laptop!

Love this Laptop. Super sleek and lightweight but does all I need it to do and more. Beautiful design, awesome smooth keyboard. Mouse pad tracks perfectly. Battery life is amazing, lasts about 10-11 hrs depending on what I’m doing. I’m an Apple person so windows is not what I’m used to. This Laptop is so nice and the quality compares to a Mac.

Let me start with this computer is beautiful but has many flaws. The design is very attractive, its sleek, it feels nice, its easy to use, and the display was great. Being an Xbox gamer I chose this over a MacBook pro just because of the seamless integration of windows across all my devices and I needed something for on the go use with work or army classes or some light gaming. I have three problems since buying this thing. One, the fan is loud and it gets hot, even with light use such as browsing YouTube and uploading some iCloud drive or one drive files. Second, the performance is terrible. I expected a lot more performance compared to the money I payed. "Light" Gaming means extra light, this thing struggles to run even very old games. I struggled to get any quality and resolution from Rome total war 2. Battery life is also terrible compared to some other devices such as a MacBook pro. I purchased this a month before realizing they were dropping the surface laptop 4 which is has those much needed upgrades. For those of you shopping, go with the Surface laptop 4!

Traded my Surface Pro tablet for the laptop and so thankful I did! I often needed to do work in my lap and the Surface tablet did not cut it as it could not rest on my legs securely and comfortably. This laptop is wonderful. I love the size of the keyboard and the felt material. The screen is vibrant and gorgeous. Quick to start and all of my million files I have up at once never bog down! I use numerous excel sheets and have 30 PDFs up at a time, swapping pages and constantly moving between files. It holds up to my daily work load perfectly. (Surface Pro Tablet did, as well!) I’ve actually had a few incidents where my purse fell in driving in the car and the laptop slid out... no scratches! Phew :). Speakers are loud and have been used during group calls for all at the conference table to hear when we didn’t have our conference speaker. Everyone was amazed how loud it was! I don’t think you will regret this purchase, it’s really great. ONE NEGATIVE that I have found with all of the Surface family is the glare from the sun. I like to work in my car, so I just have to close the sunroof. But, if you want to spend some summer days working by the water or at the picnic table outside of your office... not gonna happen!

My favorite Windows laptop. One of my favorite laptops period, but the latest M1 MacBook Air really should be considered over this. It's cheaper, faster, has better keyboard, trackpad, reliability, speed and has a vastly longer battery life with perfect cellphone-like sleep functions. If it weren't for M1 MacBook Air, I would recommend this laptop all day every day. But there's a new king of the hill.

This is one of the best laptop I have use other than my macbook pro. 3:2 screen aspect ratio is very useful and once you use it you can cannot go back to 16:9 screen ratio. Great keyboard, amazing screen, great build quality (on par with macbook pro). Performance wise its very good with 8 GB ram and 10th gen core i5. I was running whatsapp desktop app, chrome browser with 7 tabs and 2 vms in virtualbox and 4 terminals connecting to these 2 vms with python program in one terminals for data processing and calculating stuff on over 5 million entries. Laptop is snappy and quiet. I don't see any lag. Con: Only con is lack of proper thunderbolt 3 ports and proprietary charging connector. You can charge it via usb-c port though.

Very easy to use and ergonomically designed. I also own Lenovos and HPs. I find the keys on the surface are in the right place and the sensitivity of the touchpad is great. Surfaces are more expensive than the other two for the same specs, but after using it for a while I prefer this one over the others I own.

My previous laptop was a Dell Inspiron 5565 that I had for almost 4 years. This is leaps and bounds past it. The overall performance is smooth and quiet, the all metal finish gives the device a premium feel, the keyboard is quick and responsive, and has excellent battery life in a lightweight package.

Laptop is very efficient. Has a long battery life. The fans are very soft and quiet. Very light in weight. The typing experience is fantastic. Never thought I would ever change from a MacBook to a Microsoft. One issue would be the self adjusting brightness. Overall, the laptop has been a spectacular investment so far!

The one thing I like about MS laptops is how easy it is to type on them. The keyboard is fantastic, which leads to a pleasant experience. No issues with the hardware as it runs the modest office programs I use efficiently. I rarely use the touch screen, so it seems a bit of a luxury. Heavier users might demand more USB plugs and whatnot, but the one plug here is sufficient for me since my files are all on the cloud and I don't need a USB stick anymore. I had the older version with the cloth palm rest, which got dirty quite easily. No issues with this version without the cloth. I probably wouldn't recommend a cloth version to anyone. My only complaint would be the rubber feet on the backside toward the screen fell off, which I presume is because of the heat. MS does not sell replacements, from what I can tell, but I was able to find some generic small rubber feet for replacements and they work just fine.

I upgraded from iPad pro as my portable computing option. It is one of the most beautiful laptops, and its very similar to the looks of a macbook, and I love the blue color. Everything is fast and snappy. Got my needs done, it is small, light, and portable.
