I purchased this for my wife as she needed something that is a little more robust for doing web videos and online tutoring. This has a little more weight to it but it’s thin and works much better than her previous tablet model.

So far I am loving this computer. Everything seems so seamless. Connecting to peripherals is so easy and user friendly. The 15 inch size is perfect for mobility and at home I connected to a large monitor.

Perfect laptop for those who use it for work. Snappy SSD, powerful ram and lightweight enough to take on the go. Just wish there was an option to do i7, 16gb ram and 512GB

Awesome laptop. Looks super nice and feels great. Operates fast. I use this laptop for editing photos with Photoshop and Lightroom. Very quick. Very good display.

I got this latest laptop to replace my 6 yr old Surface Book. The Surface Laptop 4 is so much faster and startup is much simpler. I was able to easily get this from Best Buy within 10 days, yet Microsoft would not promise delivery until mid-September- CRAZY! Best Buy delivered when they promised and without issues. My only concern is with Microsoft and all the talk about Windows 11 which may not be compatible with the Laptop 4; then I hear today that Microsoft is planning to announce a much improved laptop in the Fall. Seems like there is an opportunity to establish a generous trade in for buying whatever new laptop Microsoft is planning.

The lightest surface laptop so far with 15 inch monitor, slimmer than surface book

This review is more about the geek squad service; specifically Quintin and Bernard. They went out of their way to get everything set up on our new laptop and answered all my questions.

It runs well and looks professional. It is perfect for all my needs. Everything works well, and it runs some good games on it! Great purchase!

I had a smaller surface pro previously but love the laptop , larger screen and light weight of this model. No problems so far.

It is so smooth and light. It's perfect for those work-at-home freelancers as me. Its fast and so effective.

I love everything about this laptop. Perfect size... amazing screen... quick processor. I don't have any complaints.

My second Surface Laptop purchase for the office. A great way to go to keep synchronized with Office 365.

Enjoying using it. It is lighter weight then my last computer. I haven't had any problems at all getting used to it compared to the Dell I had. I like the way the cord attaches to the computer, like my husband's tablet does. With Dells, I always ended up replacing the cord with it breaking from the swivel type cord where it plugged in. Also had some problems with last 2 Dells with fan or overheating.....so far not with this Microsoft computer. Bright display screen as well.

Satisfied with the performance and the ease of use. Bright screen. Need to get accustomed to a different keyboard orientation.

Former surface book 2 owner now using this 15" surface laptop and love it. I had not used the detachable tablet for sometime and when it was time to replace my computer it made sense to condider the surface laptop over the surface book. All of the same creature comforts touch screen illuminated keyboard an awesome display. Very happy so far with my decision.

So far so good.... really loving this laptop. My only problem is I bought it because my laptop didn't meet the battery or storage requirements for my graduate school program so I bought this laptop because the battery was supposed to last "up to 16 hours"... so far it has lasted me 5 hours with my normal use (opening up a few different word documents and the internet at the same time, brightness up, no music or anything playing). Disappointed in the battery life for sure. BUT at least the battery charges super fast (~1.5 hours) so if im at school, I can charge during lunch if need be. The laptop was also a bit glitchy right out of the box (shut down internet browser, bottom taskbar kept loading), but no problems since then. Other than that, i'm loving the new laptop. I love the keyboard, the mousepad, etc. It's nice and light and love the color. Overall, I would recommend, but think the battery life should say "up to 5 hours of normal use" instead of 16.

So far this laptop is working fine but the Geek Squad has failed miserably on setting it up! Twice I came in to pick it up and it was not done when they said it would be. Also, the people up front of the Geek Squad really don't know what they are doing as they gave me bad information several times. It will make me think about whether I should renew my Total Tech Support when it comes time to renew it!
