Got an incredible deal in Best Buy -came up $799. I love this Laptop. Yes, the Microsoft Surface Laptop Copilot+ PC 13.8-inch (7th Ed) with Snapdragon X Plus, 32GB RAM, 1TB Storage was to me a worthy purchase, praised for its excellent battery life, fast performance (especially for AI/Copilot tasks), premium build, great keyboard/trackpad, and efficient thermal management with the price. Only the bad thing some of my old software I was unable to use with this machine. It’s okay! No regrets!

Overall Rating: Excellent
I’m really impressed with this Surface Laptop! The build quality is top-notch, feeling solid and premium. The Snapdragon X Plus 2024 processor delivers more than enough performance for my daily tasks—multitasking, browsing, and even some light editing run smoothly. The battery life is fantastic, lasting all day without needing a charge. The camera is great for video calls, and connectivity is solid with no issues. It doesn’t get hot during use, which is a big plus. The sound is surprisingly good, and the trackpad is responsive and accurate. Overall, I’d rate it 9.5/10 for its excellent balance of power and portability!

This computer is amazing. I actually bought 3 laptops to see which i liked best, a Lenovo Yoga, an HP Omnibook x flip, and this. I returned the other 2 within a week. Speed, keyboard, touchpad, screen, brightness, it has it all. ARM makes for great battery as well.

I'll keep this simple. The best performance, battery life and overall quality you can find in a modern laptop computer is the Apple Macbook Air. That said, if you are looking for the closest thing you can get in a Windows system, you'll want the Microsoft Surface laptop. There just isn't anything that compares in the general productivity category. The build quality rivals the Macbook. Performance and battery life are excellent. It's a rock solid, highly reliable system at a very competitive price. If I could have only one Windows based laptop, the Microsoft Surface would be my choice.

I had a surface that I bought in 2017 and the experience with this recent purchase is seamless between the two, only the newer version is way faster and has way more memory. Copilot is also an excellent tool that came with the computer for free; I’m using it everyday. The price was also really right, as I saved $600.
The only thing I would say that was frustrating about purchasing the surface at Best Buy is the expiring certificates. I had bought two large screen tvs and two sound bar systems, and was convinced to open a Best Buy credit card to get $300 off a future purchase; but the thing is they never explained that they would come in my email (spam mail once I found them), and that they would EXPIRE! I called customer service multiple times, went into the store and asked for a manager, and they could not restore them. I only opened the card to get what I thought were points attached to my card for future purchases. I told the manager that I felt like I was in an abusive relationship with Best Buy because they have the best deals, but they nefariously manipulate you. He laughed, but I was serious.
I can’t recommend Best Buy, but I will highly recommend the surface. I can also recommend a tip: If you will be getting certificates, right after you pay off your purchase start looking in your spam. When you see them, either convert them to points right away online, or call customer service if you need help doing it. You will thank yourself!

Very nice, if small, laptop; the snapdragon processor is very responsive; the 32gb ram doesn't seem to add much to the speed; the lack of a numpad is a drawback but many do not care for them; all in all, a very nice laptop

Great laptop for just browsing the web, managing files, and getting work done. Even handles photo and video editing fairly well. Battery life is great and excellent build quality with no pre installed bloatware. Got it at a deal during BF, but still deciding if I *NEED* this - I have too many gadgets lol

A nice effort of Microsoft to sell a laptop in the range of Macbooks. Although, I will say, its performance is lot better than a personal PC of comparable configurations but still a lot behind of Macbooks. Build quality and thermal management is good.

The laptop does everything that I need, from just regular streaming to office (work), the display does an amazing job with color, accuracy, and vibrancy. I believe it’s called pixel sense. The touchpad is probably one of the best I’ve ever used. It’s one that rivals the MacBook Pro! This indeed is one of the best laptops that you could purchase at the price when it’s on sale!
