Fast, smart, reliable, long battery life, very little heat, brilliant display, lightweight, well-built... Sure, some apps run in emulation, or better still, they don't work at all, but if you can replace those old apps, full stop - this is a game changer. You won't look back.

When I received this new Microsoft Surface Laptop with Copilot+ PC - 13" Touch-Screen - Snapdragon X Plus - 16GB - 512GB UFS (Latest Model) in a beautiful Ocean blue tint, I was blown away by the elegance of the unit's physical design and build and, upon research and usage, also by the astuteness of its advanced technologically integrated hardware and software design.
This ACPI ARM64-based laptop boasts the 8 Cores @ 3.3GHz version of the Qualcomm Snapdragon X Plus processor featuring a Qualcomm Oryon CPU, an integrated Adreno GPU (Graphics Processing Unit), and an integrated Hexagon NPU (Neural Processing Unit) that supports 45 TOPS (Trillions of Operations per Second) for secure, on-device, real-time AI (Artificial Intelligence) processing. This technological wonder enables fast, high-performance Copilot AI productivity, visual and audio features such as instantaneous image recognition, real-time language translation, live captioning, instant recall, and powerful image and video processing, editing, and creation. This cutting-edge processor design also features fantastic cooling and power-saving properties that allow you to use your Surface laptop full-time for almost 24 hours on just one full charge.
This new 13" touchscreen Surface Copilot+ PC is small, thin and light, making it perfect for travellers, workers and students.
It has a front facing camera and an IR camera and sufficient speakers and microphone for on-line meetings and face-time video interactions. It has a sensitive fingerprint sensor for security. It supports BlueTooth and WiFi7 with HBS Multi-Link which gives you the option to connect to 5G. It has two 3.2 USB-C ports, one USB-A port and a headphone jack. Its LCD display is clear, sharp and bright with excellent colors and a 60Hz refresh rate making it great for casual gaming.
In my opinion, this Microsoft Surface Laptop with Copilot+ PC laptop presents the latest technology you can get at this moment for an incredible price point. It has everything one needs to be the perfect everyday companion. I would highly suggest this for family and friends.

I really like my computer very much, it is easy to use, it has fingerprint lock, the color is beautiful, the keyboard can light it up for when you are in low-light places, the screen is touch and with a quick response to the touch, the only problem I have had is that a speaker sounds weird, as if it were dirty I really do not know why that happened to it, but from there on, everything is excellent.

I’ve been using the new Surface Laptop Copilot+ PC for over a week now, and it’s already become my on the go laptop. It’s lightweight, runs quietly, and doesn’t skip a beat whether I’m sending emails, streaming shows, or working in MS Office.
When it comes to design Microsoft nailed the look. The Ocean color has a clean, modern vibe without being over-the-top and with a full aluminum body casing. The keyboard is one of the better ones I’ve used, with full backlighting, when typing it's very smooth with a nice bit of travel and has good palm detention when typing. The glass trackpad is very responsive and has a nice click when pressing it.
Performance wise, the Surface laptop is built on the new Snapdragon X Plus chip with 8-cores, and it definitely holds its own when it comes to multitasking. I ran a Cinebench R23 Multi Core test bench that came in at 6803 pts and single score at 1011 pts, both are respectable for this laptop. That being said I wouldn't expect it to do any huge power hungry renderings, big 4K video editing on this laptop, or modern graphics intensive video games. Packed in this laptop is also 16 GB of which is plenty for the tasks you will be performing on this laptop and didn't have any issues with using all of it. In terms of what packed in this laptop, I was a tad disappointed that it only had 512 GB SSD, where at this point in 2025 that 1 TB should be standard for any laptop over $500.
Whether you’re working across multiple apps or dabbling in some AI-generated art or productivity tools, the Surface feels snappy and responsive. As for the screen, the 13" PixelSense Flow display at 1920x1280 resolution is good. It’s not going to blow your mind if you’re coming from something like an OLED or a high refresh rate ( in 2025 I would like to see 120 Hz as the standard refresh rate), but for general use it’s sharp, bright enough, and has a glossy coat. Having a touch screen is always a nice addition when showing a presentation to some or simply selecting a show or movie on a streaming site. The touch screen is very responsive especially when scrolling. The webcam is acceptable for a laptop coming in at 1080p, which should get the job done for quick video meetings.
The star feature of the Surface laptop is the battery life on this laptop, coming in at 23 hours. I’ve gone all day without plugging it in during a full workload at the office. I even stopped throwing the charger in my backpack if I know I'll just be gone for the day. This kind of battery life makes it perfect for on the go and travel.
When it comes to ports the Surface went with the minimalist approach, There are 2x USB-C 3.2 ports,1x USB-A, and 1x 3.5mm headphone jack. That being said, I wish there was an HDMI port and a SD card slot. So, you will need to get a USB-C to HDMI cord if you want to use an external monitor, a USB-C port dongle or a docking station if you need to plug in accessories regularly.
Pros:
Long battery life: all-day usage without worrying
Lightweight and quiet, great for travel or working on the go
Comfortable keyboard and large, smooth touchpad
Clean, stylish design in three color options
Snapdragon X Plus chip handles multitasking and AI tools well
Fanless, silent performance
Touchscreen works well for casual use
Cons:
No HDMI or SD card slot
60Hz refresh rate feels a little outdated
Not meant for gaming or heavy creative workloads
RAM is not upgradable .
In the end, the Surface Laptop doesn’t try to do everything but what it does, it does really well. It’s a clean, capable laptop built for people who want something reliable, portable. If your day mostly revolves around web apps, Office spreadsheets/ documents, video calls, and light creative work, this is a great pick. The AI tools are a nice bonus, but even without them, it’s just a solid everyday machine.

The adage, "looks can be deceiving" often has a negative connotation. Not in this case. I urgently needed a laptop. So, I went shooping in BestBuy. The only laptop I liked and could afford was Microsoft - Surface Laptop - Copilot+ PC - 13" Touchscreen - Snapdragon X Plus 2025 - 16GB - 215 GB Storage - Silver. I prefered the silver color to the violet. Unfortunately, the 215 GB did not work for me; so, I took it back. The only 512 GB available was in violet, which I detested during an earlier online search. But because I desperately needed a laptop, I had to make sacrifices on the color. Long story short, I have fallen in love with the color.
The color aside, the design and functionality are great. Initially, I wanted a laptop with a magnetic charge interface and I have been back to BestBuy to compare the Microsoft - Surface Laptop - Copilot+ PC - 13" to other surface laptops with the magnetic charging interface, but I still will not trade the Microsoft - Surface Laptop - Copilot+ PC - 13" for a magnetic interface. The adage, "looks can be deceiving" often has a negative connotation. The speed could be better.

This was honestly one of the best gifts i’ve ever gotten. My girl uses it everyday and it’s not just for school she used it for her movies, her shows, church, crafts, and scheduling. It’s helped her so much and she fell in love with the color most importantly that was her favor part other then it being comportable with microsoft. But yes 5 stars and overall best purchases i’ve made

I got the 13” lilac laptop for studying, listening to music, playing small games, and writing… so far its working perfectly for all of the above!!! I love the way the keyboard types and, as someone who usually hates trackpads, this one is lovely! Super reactive and dosent make my finger hurt after prolonged use. It functions well even with a ton of things running, and so far smaller games like Stardew Vally and portals have run perfectly without overheating the system! The speakers and battery life are good as well! This laptop is light and easy to store or tote around for school, i couldn’t reccomend it more.

I loved the color and how lightweight it was. The only reason I had to exchange it was because it wasn’t compatible with certain Adobe Cloud apps i need to use.

Currently works great, and it’s very pretty. I’ve only had it for a couple of days, so I haven’t had the chance to completely explore it. Though one time, the screen flickered to black, but it came back immediately, so I don’t think (and hope) it was anything bad. So for now, five stars.

I love this laptop! It is touch screen and light! I came from a MacBook Air and also has a fingerprint passcode option and the key tabs are great! It is a great trade coming from Apple and it doesn't use as much memory as an apple so you have more space for downloading papers and soft-wears! It is a great laptop for a college student!

As I am getting used to the changes from my Surface Pro 4 to my new Microsoft laptop, I am finding many new elements that are nice to have, such as the touch screen, and using copilot for written correspondences. I am not the most computer literate person so I have new things to get used to but so far have not found anything that I dislike with the new machine. I really like having a laptop permanent keyboard as opposed to detachable keyboard of the old one.

I am surprised I like this computer so much. I needed a quick buy as my other computer died and I work online from home. But so far, I am quite happy with the purchase. It is light, smaller than my previous computer, and I like the responsiveness of the keyboard. I also like the fingerprint scanner and the usb-c charger. The battery life is much longer than my Lenovo and it seems to charge quickly.

Start off with knowing I'm not a particularly sophistocated user. I just use my laptop for basic applications, some streaming, email, internet, etc. No gaming and such. Anyway, very compact but sturdy. I purchased the Violet and it's a nice, soft color. Very easy to set up - especially when I had the Geek Squad help me). The display looks great (again, remember I'm not a gamer), colors are crisp. The speakers are clear, no fan noise, and the battery lasts forever. For simple, day-to-day use, this has been a great purchase.
