Customers are saying

Customers are delighted by the Surface Laptop Studio's performance, innovative design, and ample RAM, frequently praising its power and ease of use. However, some users express concerns regarding battery life, the limited number of USB ports, and the device's weight. The screen size and its susceptibility to display issues were also mentioned as potential drawbacks. Overall, the positive feedback on performance and design outweighs the negative comments on other features.

Need a direct plug USB hub on the market for this.

I work in a design field so I was looking for a gaming laptop to achieve a decent graphic card but the Bestbuy store rep successfully convinced me to buy this one. And I love the size, weight, aesthetic and performance. If I point out only one thing, there are only 2 USB-C ports on this laptop. So I always have to carry dangling USB hubs. I tried hard to find any direct plug one, but there is no accessory on the market which fits on this product without the integral cable.

A few flaws but design picks up the slack

Needed a video editing laptop. This one has been pretty decent so far. It feels great to type on, and it will be great to use when traveling. Looks great and feels great to use. Downsides are the graphics card, which might perform better once I upgrade it, but also the ports. Would’ve been nice to have an SD card slot at the least, and maybe one USB-A. Overall I like it a lot though.

I am a creative professional It was powerful enough to run all my programs and small enough to take with me anywhere. I sometimes with it had one or two more ports, but this is okay. The video for business meetings is great. I have the stylus, also. I do like the touchscreens capabilities, but even though I paid $120 for the stylus, it is not has sophisticated as I would like. It is easy to use your fingers when doing normal things.

This laptop is easy to use and the charge lasts pretty long for the amount of time I’m using it. Only downside is there’s only 2 usb c ports.

This laptop is great. It has everything you need. I use it in flat mode to do presentations for clients and in normal mode I use autocad on a daily basis along with Revit. Both demanding engineering applications. The screen is clear, crisp and the performance is great with a dedicated GPU. Those using the adobe suite of products including the more intensive applications like adobe after effects will have no trouble utilizing this mini beast. The touch screen is very responsive and you definitely need to get the pen. Buy the pen used and save a bunch of money because it's overpriced new. My only issue is we don't get a single usb port with this. You will need a usb-c to usb 3.0 or you can use a hub. Just something else I need to carry around with me that i really don't want to. Other than that, it's the best work laptop I own and truly is an all in one.

I love how light it is and that the screen is touch. The battery dies faster than I thought it would. It didn’t have a USB port so had to buy an adapter. It tells me I have to many windows open to work with some programs but I don’t have any going to have tech support help me with that. I do love it but takes some getting used to.

Surface Pro Studio is a powerful machine

The Surface Pro Studio is a solid, fast machine. W=The only drawback is that it does not work well with any brand of docking station. It has trouble recognizing USB-C and HDMI connections to monitors unless you purchase the Microsoft Dock 2. Then it breezes through configuration issues.

This is my 3rd Srface.... I love them. Started with Surface Pro, then Surface Book 2 and now the Surface Studio. The only issue I've had is finding the right HDMI to USB-C connector for the Surface Dock 2.

Amazing Surface product. A great replacement to the Surface Book line as the convertible screen features is much better than the detachable screen. Only wish they kept the SD slot and at least one USB A port, but not the end of the world.
