Purchased surface 4 with all the goodies and 3 weeks later touch screen failed! Geek Squad says tablet was defective and it was past the 2 week in store warranty therefore it was a Microsoft issue not theirs. Manager summoned and was no help! Went to Microsoft who fixed issue in two minutes by determining that updated software needed to be loaded for touch functions! Never again from BB. So disappointed and beyond frustrated. They will get no more of my money ever! Geek squad is a joke! PS: why is no stars not an option?

Not a Fan

Not a huge fan. I switched from Mac to the surface and hate it. It crashes when I’m using apps, occasionally won’t turn on, and the keyboard falls off frequently.

I was looking to replace my original Surface Pro (and iPad mini) that I used regularly. I was unsure if the m3 would have the speed to keep me happy, but decided to try it and return it if I was unhappy. I don't do anything that requires tons of memory - typical use is plenty of Excel, mail, web browsing, etc. Start-up and use is very speedy. I'm not a big gamer, but have been playing a lot of OOTP Baseball, and it runs perfectly smooth. I bought the deal that didn't include the pen and bought that and they keyboard separately - they are both amazing.
So, I couldn't recommend this enough. I love that there's no fan and it doesn't get hot at all. Size and weight are a perfect balance. Was thinking of waiting for a Surface Pro 5 (whenever it comes out), but couldn't pass up the savings on this.

OK, but not great

Overall not a bad product, good quality and great screen, but I'll be returning it for a number of reasons; 1) poor battery life 2) can be slow and unresponsive at times 3) windows is still not really optimized for tablets and high dpi screens 4) the windows App Store still lacking good, high quality apps.

Be aware No Keyboard included!

No Keyboard included however in the advertisement 5 of the 6 photos has the keyboard included. Funny enough now that I look at the ad again they write Type cover and pen sold separately.
This is very deceiving as they use an atypical name for the keyboard. Now that I check the price of the keyboard or otherwise called the typecover costs the same $100 off the sale price!

Horrible Battery

I thought my first one must have had a bad battery because I only got 3 hours of use out of it. I exchanged it and the problem continued. I have to put it in airplane mode and reduce the maximum performance to 45 percent in order to stretch it to 4 hours.
The main problem is they advertise a 7+ hour battery life. That is simply not acceptable. I would have bought the MacBook Air if I could do it over again

I bought two of these for our office. They are used by our sales staff for emails and general office tasks. They enjoy them.
