Very fast wake up process. Very clear display. Good amount of memory available (1TB) and 16GB RAM. Get the docking station so you can add all kinds of accessories. Get the fingerprint keyboard for easy access. Let the Geek Squad install all your stuff - very helpful staff.

really powerful device; however, it gets hot when i watch a movie and have Adobe Lightroom running in the background. and when it does the fan start to kick in and it gets real loud. money not well spent..

I upgraded from Surface pro 2. I was happy then and I'm very happy now. The screen size is much better. The pen on surface pro 2 was not as good, they really made improvements to the pen.

I've had 4 iPads since they were introduced and used them to download photos I take to review while on wildlife trips. The frustration has always been that there is never enough memory and I have to delete photos in order to add more. It's been a serious problem and there were not even any portable hard drives available for the first several years that could be used with the iPad. So now I am getting ready for a trip to Africa and leaving the iPad home and taking the Surface Pro 4 which has enough memory (4x more) than the largest iPad now available. Too bad a supposedly top tier innovator like Apple couldn't find a way to put enough memory into their product to keep me from having to finally ditch the iPad.

The Surface is an awesome tablet, but it's an even better laptop. I use it as my main computer for everyday work. Connecting two external monitors makes work easy. I have just started using it as a tablet, and it's great for that, too - the power of a laptop in a tablet.

I really like my Surface Pro 4. It is easy to take with me and easy to use. I have not set everything up yet and I still have software to install, but I am having fun learning all about my Pro. I will use it at meetings to take notes. I love the fact that I can write and draw on it. The pen has a controller in it and is magnetized to fit on the side.

My tablet does everything I want. It is lightweight and easy to carry around. The touch screen and pen are very and nice to use. My only issue is my tablet one would overheat and shut down before I had had it 2 years. Thank goodness for me buying the extra warranty.

Great Product - The only down side is they don't offer Broadband on the Pro4. They did on the Pro3. Maybe on the Pro5 down the road.

My only flaw is the power cord keeps falling off, won't stay connected

This is a great purchase for someone who doesn't need a desktop but you can also buy the docking station and make it a desktop with a monitor or TV

Bought this to record my kids and grandkids activities. It has a great picture.

Had to order this at the store, wait for ground transportation, stay home all day for signature delivery and all the brick does is flash the Surface logo. MS online help is basically return and repurchase. And what, wait another three days for another one that might brick? No thanks. This is a MS product and should work out of the box. Not impressed so far. Apparently this happens alot going by the other posters on the MS troubleshoot site. Not a good way to win customers Microsoft! Will update my review IF (if?) I can get this thing to work. Guess I'll return it tomorrow and try to to bite the head off someone at the inconvenience.
