    Having recently purchased a laptop with only one USB-C port, and for personal reasons needing to use the onboard port for a wireless mouse/keyboard, I had to purchase this adapter since no wireless mouse/keyboard combos currently come with a USB-C, only standard USB. This adapter will suffice until a wireless mouse/keyboard combo comes to the market with a USB-C

    The Go uses the newer USB form so old cabling from older devices needs to have the form-C adapter for ease of use. A bit pricey for such a small bit of plastic but it's a "got to have" item.

    I don't know if this is better than the one from Amazon since the items on Amazon are cheaper than this. Since it is a brand name, I feel it is safer to use and not frying my devices.

    Purchased a Surface Go tablet, and realized that it didn't have a USB port. This handy little adapter solved the problem, making it possible for me to connect to my printer, modem, etc.

    These are well constructed and nicely fit to my MBP usb-c ports. These in general work fine but when i connect my external big hard drive, sometime the drive disappears while using it. No issues seen if i connect small usb drives like memory sticks.

    These do exactly what they are supposed to do. My only issue is the weight of the cable/device being adapted, and if it puts pressure on the USB-C port. I usually prop it up with something and it makes e feel better.
