    Had to upgrade due to needing to connect to domain. Worked great other then setup ran into problem which said sorry issue with no error code. Figured out with some research online.

    This is a must have product if you are connecting to a Domain environment. It will take some time to install depending on your PC performance but its a simple installation process.

    It is a great operating system and meets my expectations.It has the best features and is updated to I need to work. better job with windows and media center. this at a good price and has the best features that could be expected from this system. not change it for any other.

    The Pro version adds additional security (Provides enhanced data protection with BitLocker and "BitLocker To Go" to help keep your information secure) and you get Windows Media Center. Not a big difference, but every little bit helps to keep your machine secure.

    After upgrading my old laptop I decided to go with the latest OS to make it a great laptop. it was easy to upgrade from windows 7 and my laptop preforms great.

    Works as well as Windows 8 Can. 8.1 is better than 8, but nowhere near as good as Windows 7 or even Windows 10.

    I only upgraded to PRO because I needed to network my office. So far it's worked as expected but I still prefer Windows 7.

    Put this on a new windows 8 machine, took about 4 hours worth of updates before the windows 8.1 upgrade would show up in the windows store. But the actual upgrade was easy to do, enter a key and your done. this upgrade is a must if you do anything beyond what you want to do on a tablet, especially if you do software development.

    If your upgrading from Windows XP, then it will take some getting used too. I don't think I really like the store concept for applications. Honestly I rarely use it, cause I'm on the road and I use my tablet.
