Well, if you want to play... You got to pay. It's worth the money per year. You get to have fun with friends online. Wish it was a bit cheaper, they make up for it with free games.

Got this after finding out that the games with gold I downloaded last year on my XBOX ONE require me to keep gold membership to continue to play those free games. Not a nice surprise, but I planned on getting this anyways. Multi-player is fun and can't resist being a gold member anyway.

The Xbox gold membership is necessary to play certain games. For this reason, purchasing the membership becomes necessary to open up more fun.

The challenge of playing against someone or being part of a multiplayer environment makes the games so much more enjoyable. To top it off, you get free games - albeit not the most exciting ones; and you get to test out new games before they go on sale.

It gives you extra features on the Xbox and free games every month. Plus this way you don't have to store your credit card number in case a hack on Microsoft occurs. Redeeming it was a piece of cake. Also I got my best buy rewards points.

Prior to this I did not interact live before. I enjoy this tremendously and the picture quality is the best. Price of the GAMES was reasonable also for the time I use it.
