It's good for people who chat or communicate a good bit. Price is decent and a deal only if you need all three items.

Being $74.99 seems a little expensive, but when you add the total price of the 12 month membership ($59.99), 400 ms points ($4.99) and the chat pad ($29.99), that total topples the 74.99 price tag, not to mention it includes a 19.99 value headset for a friend when they come over and want to play also on Live. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS! for anyone who wants a chatpad for text messages and a year of XBL. If you were to pay for all this separate it would cost $115+ tax. WORTH EVERY PENNY!

This is a great value if you are going to use xBox Live to communicate and play with friends online. I am really glad I bought this when I got the xBox.

I had a one-month membership to XBOX live and this allowed me to just ADD-ON the 12-month. But, the QWERTY keyboard is SO ESSENTIAL to being able to use the XBOX to search for movies for Netflix, Web usage (such as downloading Amazon Prime movies, etc). The inherent typing for XBOX is horrific and this keyboard makes it at least feasible and, with some practice, I can get to my movies quite quickly. Hooray! The Best Buy bundled package is a good deal.

Personally, I enjoy having multiple accessories. I was only looking to buy MS Points so the headset and keypad were bonuses. The starter kit is totally worth it.

I think that this item really allows the player to take the gaming experience to the next level. Allows communication between players while allowing the rest of the room to experience quiet. Keyboard is great for quick typing which allows for more game play.

Still useful years later. Dusted off the Xbox 360 to see if online play was still a thing and it was. Nostalgia indeed.

Pretty good starter pack for xbox live. The chat pad is easy to use too.

I really don't use it,the kids do a lot so I'm gonna rate it according to kid use .
