Love my new Xbox One. Cant wait for Halo5 & Rise of the Tomb Raider.
1TB (1000GB) of Hard drive space, Digitial copy of Halo: Master Chief Collection and the latest revision of probably the best console controller I have had the pleasure of using.
This console has external hardrive support. I can not wait to play Halo 5 Guardians, RIse of the Tomb Raider, Quantum Break and Scalebound!
Be sure to pick up XBL when its on sale so that you can get discounted digital games and free games from Xbox every month. Recently backwards compatibility was announced. By Decemeber 100 xbox 360 games will be able to be used on your new console (Mass Effect is included!)
I highly recommend going digital this gen as it helps to ensure BC for the future next xbox.

I had doubts about getting a new Xbox, but I must admit, I am quite impressed with the graphics and speed of the Xbox One. The menus are very fluid, beautiful to look at and being able to snap the apps is really nice.

We are quite happy with the purchase of our new Xbox One. The next-gen graphics are incredible, there are plenty of games available already, and it promises a degree of future-proofing for our entertainment options.

The Xbox 360 died and Grandson's choice was this product, the Xbox One. If this one lasts as long and runs through as many games as was played on the old one, I won't have to purchase another. He is a happy camper!!

Compared to my PS4, the Xbox One is a bit more complicated to navigate. The menu is clean and nice looking, and the graphics are very nice. I only got the system to play a few exclusives from Microsoft, however. I prefer my PS4 over this system, so I hope Microsoft releases more exclusives soon to make my purchase worth the money.

Very pleased with my choice over the ps-4. larger controllers, larger hard drive. With the accessories available, this makes a complete gaming station. Love the Master Chief collection included with this system.

The graphics are far superior to the XB0x 360. System works well. Beware of the claims that the 360 games work, only a few have been converted and none of the popular games. Xbox has followed a lot of the current apps so that after you buy a game you game you can keep spending money, i.e. Madden 16 is a prime example.

One would assume 1tb would be plenty of space but with the Xbox Gold sales on complete games you still burn through Hd space pretty quickly. Buy external Hds I'm running two 8tb western Digital externals

I love it much better than the 360. Traded it in and have enjoyed every second of it. Much more storage space and waiting for the backwards compatibility now. Recommend upgrading if you haven't already.

This system did take a long time to download the free game but it is related to Internet speed. Once it was complete everything has been great. I would buy this system again today. Graphics are great!

Definitely an upgrade from the current gen to the next gen consoles. Runs very smooth and doesn't require any external devices like the 360 did depending on the version. Havent had any issues with it!

Can hold a lot more games then the earlier X-Box with 500 GB. Rest of the functionality is more of less same. Gaming experience is same. Only advantage of buying the 1 TB one is all versions of HELO.

Traded in 360 to upgrade to the 1tb xbox one. Happy I did. For only 50$ more we have double the space. Make sure you have high speed wireless or can network right to the unit itself as you're looking at a day of downloading updates without it.

I've been holding off on getting a XB1 until Halo5 came out. I've been playing Halo MCC, Halo 5, Forza6... They all look amazing! I a moving my new Xbox and I kinda wish I had bought it sooner.

Purchased knowing that I wouldn't be using it fully until Fallout 4 came out. Also, the main reason I decided to purchase was the OS upgrade and backwards compatibility that is to come in the later part of 2015. Right now, everything is working well. And definitely started off better than the 360 launch.

Fabulous Game Console

I'm a Halo fan, so the Xbox is my only choice for a console. The Xbox One dashboard is simpler than that of the Xbox 360, although it still takes some time to discover where Micro$oft has located the various features this time around.
The console worked fine out of the box once I got the network settings correct. I have a router with a fixed local IP address allocated to the DMZ, so I first needed to configure the Xbox One with that address. Unfortunately, that meant that I had to plug in an Ethernet cable even though I wanted the eventual connection to be wireless.
The major problem, as many have noted, is the immense size of the bundled game Halo: The Master Chief Collection. There is no game disc, so installing the game requires downloading 45 GB for the basic game *plus* a 20 GB update. Needless to say, this took a long time, so much so that I eventually moved the Xbox into the room with my cable modem and plugged it in directly, temporarily bypassing the WiFi connection. If I hadn't done that, it would probably *still* be loading...

It took 3 xboxs before I got one that didn't have the dreaded controller disconnect problem. The range is terrible on the controller still, and I thought the 360's range was lacking. Not near as user friendly as the 360 when it comes to joining parties and games. It likes to keep the friends party screen on the tv when you leave and start o,aging a game. Then you have to go back to the friends party screen and manually back out to get to disappear. If you get a friends party/game invite, and you don't immediately accept it, it doesn't get stored in the message section. Graphics are really good. I do the complete off function, takes awhile to boot up. Hopefully Xbox addresses the problems. Granted I know they can't do anything about the startup time. I'm pretty disappointed, especially considering this has been out for almost 2 years.

I was worried that it wouldn't be worth it since I had 2 360's but it has definitely proved to be a great console and complete media center. I'd go back and buy another if I weren't so broke!

Great experience for purchasing my 2nd Xbox one. I love the full user experience that the Xbox platform brings. I use it as a media hub I play games on. I purchased it as I have family that are fully addicted to the Gears of War series and did not want to replace my 360 due to that. Upon preparing to cut the cable cord, I wanted to be able to have Sling streaming in our guest room as well as still providing the ability to play Gears of War 3 in particular. This will enable both. Thanks to the upcoming backward compatibility and the purchase bonus for Gears of War Ultimate edition they will also now all be on the HDD, making it even more accessible for my Older father to play.
