I upgraded to this system because of the full support for 4K content and 4K disc playback. This is the only entertainment system that allows you to fully enjoy 4K movies on your home TV. I was about to purchase a stand alone 4K player, but this is almost the same price and your get a full Xbox included. Pair it with the DVD remote for the best experience. The new Windows 10 interface is great and it ties together nicely with your Microsoft account. I have multiple units and the saved games synchronize to all the systems. For the price (with a game included), you cannot beat it.

Xbox 1 is a great entertainment console. If you have a 4k television the 4k movies looks absolutely brilliant. Graphics on the games are amazing as well

My older son has an Xbox One and remarked how he wished Microsoft had included the 1 TB of storage in the earlier console, plus its smaller. Great deal.

You really can't go wrong with an Xbox One. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a great gaming console. It's super easy to set up... just plug it in and follow the on screen directions. The value you get from bundles (the console which includes a game) is quite high. Don't forget to subscribe to Xbox Live Gold membership (which you can sign up via the console itself). It costs about $60 a year but you get FOUR FREE games EVERY MONTH that you can download directly to your console's hard drive. Outstanding value!

Let me start off by say that if you already have an Xbox One, there is little to no need to upgrade to the Slim model. I knew there would be a hardware revision at some point given history, so I waited. Overall, I am happy with the console.
Pros:
1. It does 4K streaming and blurays...which I do NOT care for at all, but if you are into that, good for you.
2. Its super quiet. You will honestly forget its on.
3. No external power brick.
4. Its kind of sleek. The reason I say kind of is that I own 2 Wii Us and they are half the size of an Xbox One S. However, compared to the original Xbox One, its much sleeker.
Cons:
1. The UI is more simple than the Xbox 360, but more complicated to use. There are far less menus, but it is sluggish, lags even when offline, and simple things are in not-so-simple places..
2. Game install are huge. I knew this since the console launched. I do NOT recommend any version under 1TB. Although you can use an external HDD, its just more clutter.
3. My bundle included a digital copy of Gear of War 4. I much prefer physical games as they can be sold and they install much faster from the disk.

Love that it's not the size of a VCR lol. It also looks great on my 4k tv. Good hard drive space and cool design. It looks good on my entertainment center. Microsoft got it right with the Xbox One S. Still missing rechargeable batteries built into the controller like my PS4 Pro.

I have an original xbox one 500g and this was an upgrade. Far superior to the original in every way. 4k picture makes it so beautiful to look at.

I like how much smaller this game console is versus my Xbox 360. The graphics are so much better and the 4K blue ray player is a huge plus!

This Xbox is noticeably better than the original Xbox one. The graphics do seem to be better on the games that support the 4K format.

Love the fact that this Xbox plays 4k movies and games. Only cost about $50 more than a 4k player. Plus came with Gears of War 4.

I purchased the upgraded Xbox-one S despite already having a perfectly good Xbox-one (which I gave to my son) in order to realize the true awesomeness of the 4K television I bought back in February. The upgraded Xbox-one S looks fantastic on the TV and I am oh so pleased with it. I do not know if it would have been worth upgrading if I did not already have the 4K TV, but if you have a 4K TV and are not looking to wait for the Scorpio Xbox thingie get the Xbox-one S and you shan't be disappointed!

Don't play many games, but I do watch a lot of streaming content and was interested in checking out 4k Blurays. Works great for what I wanted. One day I'lll try a game or too. Surprisingly less expensive than buying a standalone 4k Bluray player.

I like how slim it is, doesn't take up a lot of space on my entrainment stand. Plus I can download a lot of games with 1TB
