I know the next Xbox should come out next year so this was a great deal to make a short term upgrade at a reasonable price.

I picked this up so I can play when I want to. I was worried about the graphics and the speed, but it has handled several online games and offline high graphics games just fine. Great bargain for only $200! And Xbox has made it easy to use two systems on the same gold account in your home. You do need two copies of the games to play together, but that’s not such a big deal these days with Xbox giving out games each month for free. No issues with the S model so far. And the 1 TB hard drive handles plenty of large games with ease.

I did not want to pay for a 4K player and wanted to experience 4K gaming or something close to it. Very happy I did, with a minor upgrade. I replaced the supplied HDMI cable with a 4K HDMI 2.0 high speed 120Hz supported cable and saw a huge difference in the games and movie quality. I highly recommend getting a good HDMI cable.

What put me over the top was being able to expand my home with an additional PC, replacing my DVD player, and alternative streaming using a Microsoft platform device. Yeppers, it handles all of this... quite well I might add. The look of this version is really elegant and blends in quite nicely in my living room. Power is plenty, graphics are killer, and it came with a phenomenal game that I am still trying to complete!

I wanted to have something in my living room that would cover everything that I needed. I can now stream Sling TV with xbox 1 s, I now have a 4K UHD dvd player with xbox 1 s, and my YouTube and Netflix. I actually wish now that I bought 2 of them so I could have 1 in my bedroom lol. Cool that I got Jedi Fallen order, I installed it on my xbox 1 x in my gameroom/Mancave. Lol.. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase and if your looking for a all around media player plus gaming xbox 1 s is all you'll need.

Great System Alternative to PlayStation

He likes it as well as his playstation. Was easy to set up and use. Only complaint is the batteries in the wireless controller died after about 2 weeks of use. Seems to run faster that PS4 and my son says it has better graphics.

Set up was easy. Cons: can't be connected with the Xbox 360 Kinect, and some of the 360 games don't work on the Xbox One. I wish Xbox would come out with more gender neutral games like PlayStation does.

Haven't looked back since purchasing it. I was up and running in about 3 minutes and playing Star Wars in about 5 hours. Pretty fast considering what a hefty download the game is. All games look great on my 4k TV. And I'm pleased with the deals Microsoft has been offering for Game Pass this holiday season. I won't be paying anything significant until like April.
