Although the gaming isn't offered in 4K, the upscaling is incredible. That being said, the fact that it is a 4K player makes this XBox totally worth it! Incredible visuals from the ultra 4K blu Ray movies.

MY son no longer worries about storage anymore. Performance seems much better than the initial x-box one.

I didn't get mine from Best Buy but I'll drop my feed back. I had the day one system and it was riddled with bugs so I needed a upgrade. It was a great choice for the price! It also gave me a reason to finally up grade my 6 year old Tv to a 40' Samsung 4K tv. It was worth the buy and I'm loving it! The only thing suggest is buying a higher rates 4K HDMI cable. The one that comes with it isn't the greatest. I'd recommend a Monster or Rocketfish.

It's the cheapest 4K Blu-ray player on the market and you get an XBox with a 2 TB hard drive in it! It'a a no brainer!

I upgraded my Xbox to this to get the 4K Blu Ray and HDR. The difference is fantastic. For 400.00 to get a 4K HDR player and Xbox it's the best option for anyone wanting to get into 4K. Players alone are 300-600. Highly recommend this. Not worth replacing a current Xbox One if you don't plan on getting a 4K TV. If your buying your first Xbox this is a no-brainer.

This is the Xbox One I've been waiting for since 2013. Coming from the Day One Edition this thing is a huge upgrade! Finally a small, sleek, quiet, cool console much like the PS4 but with the Xbox live community we all love. This is not a "new generation" Xbox. This is exactly what it's called, an Xbox One Slim. Still an Xbox but a much better reliable machine. Buy it if you have a 360, or one of the 1st generation Xbox one consoles. If you have one of the newer Xbox one models then wait until next year or when you join the 4K TV club to upgrade.

My ps4 just sat around after beating uncharted 4, so I sold it. As soon as I purchased an Xbox One S, I couldn't put the Nicely Built Controller down! It's Honestly Microsoft's Best Console to date! I highly recommend buying one.

While it's a great gaming system, we were told all 360 games and accessories would work with it......not so. We have a couple games and a couple controllers that will not work with it. Not pleased about that. I would recommend to a friend but tem them about our issues.

Great graphics and overall quality. It is very slick compared to the regular Xbox one. I recommend this one over the regular Xbox one

This console is great for me, but I'm far from a hardcore gamer. The XBOX is in my home for movies and apps first; gaming second. I sold the XBOX Elite to get the S solely for 4K features. The Samsung 4K player retails for the same price. If I wasn't putting a 4K system together for movies/media, I would've stayed with the XBOX Elite especially since this doesn't provide native 4K gaming. I actually miss the speed of the Elite's SSD opposed to the XBOX One S HDD. Some say they can't tell the difference, but I could tell the difference the second I put 2K16 in to do that long initial download and tried to switch to Pandora. The lag was beyond noticeable. Dropping a SSD in these things would've been great. There's no other material differences from the previous model to mention.

I decided to get the new xbox one s because I was getting a 4k TV on black Friday. I noticed that there really isn't that much of a difference between the one and the one s. The new one is smaller and 4k. There's not much more about this I could say.

I am not a hard core gamer but I really got into the bluray disc format because of my PS3. So I was completely disappointed to find out the PS4 Pro would not have a UHD blurry player. Need to say, Microsoft decided to included a UHD bluray player and it was the deciding factor in my purchase. I still like to have disc...as streaming services are not always reliable. Funny thing is I did not buy this strictly for gaming, but I've actually starting playing Batman Arkham Knight, Neverwinter, Witcher 3, Quantum Break, and Star Wars Battlefront!! If you're a streamer of 4k media, you have options like Netflix for 4k content with Amazon and Youtube right around the corner. I am very happy with my purchase and got exactly what I needed out a media player and gaming console.

I am new to the xbox family. Needed a 4k player for a good price.

I am not much of a gamer. I purchased this XBOX One S so I can watch 4K UltraHD Blu-ray discs on my 4K TV. I am blown away by the quality, especially on HDR. If you need a 4K UltraHD player, this is really one of the very few options, with the bonus of also being an XBOX.

Got this for my son basically upgrading from his 360. Its much more slim and compact and can be easily be transported anywhere. Most of all my son loves it too.

Owned Xbox One. Xbox S is such a great improvement. Smaller size. No big power cord box. White color is awesome. Vertical stand. Bluetooth gaming controller.
