I bought this Xbox One S Console package for my son for Christmas. I was hesitant to make this purchase at first but am glad I did. The whole family enjoys the console for their own reasons! It’s a multi use machine!

I wanted to get this system so when my grandson and nieces are here there is something fun to play with. My son told me this was a good buy so I jumped on it. I can also watch movies. My son had the Xbox One and my grandson the Xbox 360.

It’s a nice little gaming console. Was a bargain as it came with Forza Horizon 3 and hot wheels extension. You would need a high speed internet to be able to play 4K games as they keep getting updated often.

I had Xbox 360 for myself and PlayStation 4 for kids. I just wanna to upgrade for this Xbox one and guess what. My kids fell in love with it. Great console.

One of the first things I noticed that I really liked about the One S is that there's no external power brick. Setup was as simple as could be, and once it was connected to my wifi network and went through its updates all I had to do was sign in and it imported all my system settings from my original Xbox One. I don't have a 4K TV so can't comment much on the picture, but it looks as great as it did before. I don't know whether things load faster than before or not, but it all seems smooth and snappy. I like the new style of controller that comes with it with a kind of textured grip on the back compared to the completely smooth original controllers. The controller pairing button is slightly more obvious than it was on the old system, and the forward USB port has been moved to the front instead of the side which is more convenient to get to. The problem I have with my chat headset where it seems to be open and broadcasting all the time, is the same as before but only the headset is unchanged so that's probably the culprit. I haven't downloaded the free game that came with it yet but I don't suspect there will be any difficulty, as there hasn't been in the past with this sort of thing. It only has a 500gb hard drive compared to the 1tb drive of my original system, but since I have an external 4tb drive it really wasn't an issue. This is a great system, and if you don't need the One X as I didn't then this is a sure winner.

Bought it for the holidays as a gift for family. The kids are elementary school ages and they LOVE Hotwheels cars, so we got the Xbox Forza bundle which came with the Hotwheels game. Writing this review on 12/24, and I'm so excited to see their faces tomorrow when they open the gift wrapping off the box!

Right of the box, plug n play. Must have device for 4K TVs to take full advantage of playing UHD Blurays and Gaming on 4K with HDR. Apps works fine like Netflix, Youtube and many streaming apps giving the TV full power if it is not a smart TV already.

My grandsons loved the new Xbox S they received for Christmas. I liked the sale price and the Hotwheels game that was included so they had something to start playing with right away.

Looks great, smaller than the original Xbox One. NO MORE POWER BRICK!!!! FINALLY! Took Microsoft long enough to integrate the power supply inside the system. I really like the way it looks, very stylish. Doesn't seem like there will be any overheating issues to worry about like the first Gen XBOX ONE.

IF U NEED A 4K PLAYER THIS IS THE WAY TO GO PLUS YOU GET TO PLAY GAMES AND A WHOLE LOT MORE 4K PLAYERS COST ALMOST THE SAME THE BIG PLUS IS IT COMES WITH A 4K HDMI CABLE MAYBE ITS ONLY 500 GIGS BUT ITS CHEAPER AND IF U NEED MORE MEMORY ALL U WOULD NEED TO GET IS AN EXTERNAL HARD DRIVE EASY ENOUGH

The Xbox One S is a nice upgrade from the original Xbox One. It's sleeker, slimmer, and the 4K capability is great. Even as a standalone 4K player, it's a good deal. Recommended.

The Xbox One S is a smaller improved version of the Original. Great Console and a Great Value. The 500GB is good but if you have a large collection you may need to get an External Hard Drive to load games from or go for the 1TB version. For a little more.

So I bought this more for tv watching than for playing games. In that regard it works fantastic. We have an Homerun set up for OTA broadcasts, and it streams Netflix and Amazon Prime in 4K brilliantly. It also plays Ultra HD Blu-ray discs. The picture quality isn't as good as it would be with a dedicated player, but sometimes you have to choose wife fidelity over high fidelity. Having one "thing" to do all tv things is convenient. Best Buy had a great bundle deal going where I got the console, an extra controller, and a game for $5 less than the MSRP of the console itself. The hard drive is already half full after only downloading a few games, so I'll probably have to spring for an external drive at some point. Still a good console/media player.

Great design. Really like the 4k and the loss of the bulky power brick. Great entertainment center and game system.

I've am and will remain to be a PlayStation man, but the ratings and hype for Forza Horizon 3 made me very curious, since i'm a big racing game fan. The black Friday deal on this bundle made me want to check it out. I'm very glad that I did, because I would say this is my favorite racing game of all time. I just wish it was for the PS4 so I wouldn't have had to purchase an Xbox One. This is such a fun game!!!!

It is a good console. The big difference between the 360 and one s, is that the games have to be download and use storage on the console. If you play a lot of games, get the bigger storage. Halo 5 took forever (6 hours) to download. If you want to play blu ray discs, you have to download an app to be able to play the movie. We have 3 games and the blu ray app down loaded and half of our 500Gs is used up. The game playing quality is awesome and the controllers are easy to use. We really enjoy playing.

I bought this one as a second unit for my game room I use the first one in the main tv room for movies and when my wife is away games they are both hooked up to 4k tv's one is HDR plus 3d love the picture for 3d blue rays and 4k's movies I am really into movies and the games are a great bonus love this system.
