This controller is totally awesome. No batteries needed the cord that comes with it plugs into the Xbox and it charges then you can use it just as good as a battery controller once it's charged for hours and hours. It can charge over night with out the console being on too!

He's been using it since he got it for his birthday which was Feb 1st and he says its awesome. He loves the new features and even has me playing video games with him again.

Xbox One controllers provide ease and comfort of use. the design is adequate for finger movements. The controller is made of sturdy material, scratch proof, and they are hard to destroy.

If you are considering making a controller purchase for someone and do not understand the difference in cost, it most likely is due to wireless or not. This bundle comes with the charging cord, rechargeable battery, and the wireless controller. No need to buy batteries every week and or have wires stretched across the room. This all in one purchase is worth the extra money and will save you $$ in the long run.

If you're anything like me, you like to play games with your friends. Unfortunately, these days the consoles aren't bundled with more than one controller. The price seems a bit steep but these controllers are well built and both the controller and the included battery last forever. Plug it in, charge it up, add friends...repeat.

With my bigger hands the controller fits very nicely and feels very comfortable in your hand just like the 360. However PS4 has a jump on design with the touch sensor on the pad that works like a laptop sensor which is fantastic for inputting on the screen, so much easier and faster.

Simple yet sleek controller. I was doing Christmas shopping and wanted to get my partner the Halo edition control but they were out of stock so I purchased this one. It's smooth and the battery lasts very long; we use it every day and still haven't had to charge. Great product!

As a PS4 and Xbox One owner, I have to say that the one thing that separates the Xbox is the controller. The look and feel are top notch. And, I like that the batteries are replaceable, and for $15 more than the regular controller price, you are getting a battery and USB.

Always had the Microsoft play and charge kits with my controllers and every time they have been great. At first was not too sure about how long the battery pack would last. The first few charges depleted pretty quickly (about 4-5 hours of play). After, I would say, the 3rd or 4th full charge the battery pack has been going strong. I have been playing on the same charge for about 12 hours now and t still has about half a charge left. The controller has a pretty good feeling to it. It's comfortable and seems sturdy. I do not think they are up to the standards of the Xbox 360 controllers though. The 3.5mm headphone jack is good. I plugged in my headphones to listen to the game so I wouldn't disturb anyone and the sound was alright. The sound was definitely clear, but the volume was just a little low.

I got it as an extra controller, and now just use it for my PC and use the battery in the old controller. Comes with the battery and the cable, and you can use the cable to connect to a PC but any USB will also do this. If you need another xbox one controller then get this, but if only for the PC just get one without the charger and use an existing cable.

I bought this during a Christmas sales event. Great quality, and you can't beat the value with the included rechargeable battery. I buy these for all my kids now after seeing how many batteries we went through otherwise.

This is a great package. If you need a new controller might as well pay a little extra and get the this one with the charger. It will save in the long run from replacing all those batteries.

Saves a lot of money on batteries. Charge life is good. Only complaint is that the cord is a little short. Would like something that had enough length to go from xbox to couch but I just use a USB wall charger to keep playing while charging.

I bought this to replace my Xbox 360 wireless controller for my pc. I feel it's a great improvement over the 360 pad and all games I've tried works just fine with it.

There were several choices and Best Buy helped me choose the wireless option with the rechargeable battery. Definitely was the right choice and it works great.

I always purchase a second controller when buying a new game system, and this time was no exception. Plus I got $20 off the controller when buying it at the same time as my new Xbox, so ask them about that offer! The controller will use regular batteries or the included rechargeable pack. The charge cable has an LED indicator to let you know how much charge it has. The only complaint I've had is that the battery does not have the life I would have liked for it to have. It seems to run down faster than I would expect. It also turns on the controller when plugging in the charge cable. If you manually turn off the controller after plugging it in, it will charge faster than leaving it sitting on. Overall, I am happy with the controller though, and it is possible that I might have just gotten a bad battery. I will contact Microsoft to find out if the life is normal.

nice to have a great controller and a battery that lasts for a while and for a good combo pricebecause if you buy them separately it cost more

The new design keeps you from having to buy extra gear gave this as a gift to a friend he loves it uses it for both his xbox and computer

Much better then having to be attached to the xbox. Battery last a great deal. No problems with lag or movements. worth the price.

Plug n Play is the way to go for sure. This controller can handle my headset and no need to have the cable plugged in - so great.
