This game was the best deal I have gotten on games this year. The story keeps me intrigued and the graphics are soo good I was very impressed, I'm all about graphics and this game delivered. I also like how every chief or commander I fight has various strengths and weakness that you have to discover by interigating ppl and soo many special moves that when combined reek havoc on my enemy's. This game is definitely worth buying

Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor is a fantastic game that borrows many gameplay elements from other titles like the Batman Arkham series and the Assassin's Creed franchise. The story is compelling, the fighting is fluid, and the nemesis system will keep you engaged. Pick up this game if you're looking for a great action-adventure!

Honestly if games that have you slash and defend and slash and defend don't appeal to you then you won't like this game. It did seem repetitive but literally only after putting in nearly 40 hours of gameplay. I absolutely loved it and felt like there was so much to do and it Was always challenging me. Definitely got my money's worth from this great game.

For anyone who enjoys the Lord of the Ring movies (or Hobbit trilogy) AND gaming, this game is a must have. Much better game play on the PS4 than older gen consoles. Really fun, not a difficult game allowing for more time to enjoy watching the ranger destroy hordes of orcs!

This game was hard at first and I wasn't diggin at first, but once you start leveling up this game is so amazing. Slaying orcs is great stress relief! Pretty gorey slayings. Great game.

The game starts off difficult and actually pretty frustrating. However, once you get the hang of things and level up your character, things get very fun. Fighting in the game is fluid and action packed. It starts out with frantic button mashing but after a few hours it turns into methodical slashing, pin point stabbing and gratifying finishers. The story is true to the Hobbit and Lord of the Rings. There is a very decent amount of character progression and customization as well. I highly recommend this game.

If I had to describe this game to someone in a nutshell I would say it combines the Batman Arkham games combat with Assassin's Creed stealth mechanics and executes each quite well. But it's the Nemesis system that really sells the game though. The Nemesis system creates random miniboss type characters with varying personality traits and abilities to challenge the way you take them down. It really personalizes the experience, I hope more game use this type of system in the future.

This is a challenging game with great graphics. It has quite a few parallels with similar games (Dragon Age), but without the ability to customize your character. Even though, it keeps you interested in the game. Outside of the location, and some character types (Elfs, Orcs, etc) there is no real tie in to the LOTR or Hobbit books/series. Still kept me engaged and overall fun to play.

The game is a good representation of the lotr world. The story, graphics and gameplay speaks next gen quality.

If you are a lord of the rings fan buy it for the story. If you are an assassins creed or batman arkham fan, buy it for the combat

This game is very good. It has a similar feel to the Batman: Arkham series in terms of fighting and is akin to Assassin's Creed in how it moves/climbs. The story is fun and wild, a bit of different tone than any other work based on Tolkien. and the progression system really fleshes out an array of different abilities that ultimately make your character more of a bad A as time goes on.

This game was terrific. I did not know what to expect but was really surprised at how much fun it was.

No wonder it won so many awards. This game has so much story and great gameplay.

This game is amazing. I am not generally a gamer who plays games set in the past or in a fantasy world, but this game has opened my eyes. The gameplay and ranking system is very addictive. I want to let all my friends play it, but I cant stop playing long enough. I really enjoyed the ordering process of these pre-owned games and will definitely look here first when purchasing another game.

Cool game, new Ideals, good challenges, like the story

Shadow of Mordor is a very intense, satisfying, dark rpg. If you're not worried about blood and/or gore, then you should buy this game. Be warned though.. The characters are kind of freaky and by freaky, I mean those ugly orcs who look so disgusting and just pure uglyness. Overall, the game is really fun and challenging.

I bought this game during a promotion and wanted to try it out after hearing it was a good game from review. The story is very good. The atmosphere is very much like Lord of the Rings. The combat system is very much like the recent batman games, which I like. I recommend this game for anyone looking to spend a good time.

I've only put a few hours into the game so far, but I am really enjoying it. The gameplay mechanics seem familiar to other titles I enjoy, and that isn't necessarily a bad thing. Over all, so far it seems to be very fun, and I look forward to really digging into the gameplay.

I would say this game oddly felt like a breath of fresh air, I say oddly because it clearly pulls a lot from both the Assassin's Creed & Arkham games. It was an enjoyable action adventure campaign that kept me hooked from beginning to end. Would Recommend!
