It works and I was able follow weather reports during a summer and winter storm. I was grateful to have the calm of knowing what was going on. It was my first weather radio.

I like this radio because it is compact and has multiple recharge options. I bought it in preparation for the 2017 hurricane season, and I keep it plugged in USB to monitor weather alerts. I'm sure it will come in handy for Winter, as well. The only thing that I really don't like about this emergency radio is the antenna. I'm thinking that it really should have a rubber antenna mast, or at least an antenna that doesn't feel like it's going to break off. Fortunately, the external antenna has nothing to do with weather-radio broadcasts, so it's not a deal-breaker.

It works fine. Even at a remote campground, where there was no GPS, it was able to get the emergency weather channel and a few other channels. Sound is not smooth stereo, but reasonable. Sort of what we used to get from transistor radios decades ago. It is smaller than I expected, which is good for camping. I used it as a flashlight, too. The NY Times wirecutter site recommended the larger version, the Midland ER 321.

This product is easy to use. Multiple ways of charging. Very light. Emergency essential.

Very good reception, even without the antenna up. Simple to use. Would like a dedicated on/off button. Is is well made, but all surfaces are hard plastic, so it could use some softer surfaces/padding to absorb bumps. The handle works well with two fingers through it for winding.

The reception is much better than I expected. I like that this can be quickly charged by usb and then maintained via solar panels.

Small, light, and decent quality. It would get a five but the charge when the unit is off discharges too quickly. I check my go bag electronics monthly and this is almost completely discharged each time I check (done this twice). This does have solar and crank capabilities, so in a bug out situation there is opportunity to recharge. But it still should not discharge this fast when in the "off" position.

Compact and easy to use. Seems to get a good signal, so far, but I've only tried it at home. I bought it to take on camping & kayak trips. I'm a little skeptical if how water resistant it's actually is.

It's definitely smaller than I expected, especially for the price. But it functions well and I guess there is no need for it be any bigger. It's nice to be able to charge it by solar, crank, or plug in. The battery is commonly available too if you want to buy a backup.

This will come in handy in an emergency. . I hope we never need it, but will be happy to have it when needed. I gave it four stars because we didn't have a chance to use it.

This is a great little weather radio. Its small and has a lot of options. I like the digital screen for selecting station.

I purchased this for a Hurricane heading my way, but it went another direction. I tested it thoroughly, and it’s very good. It’s small, but very adequate.

This handy little device is great for keeping us informed about local weather and news during emergencies. The hand crank option is so convenient.

Comes on LOUD even when storm not in your area. Comes on so often and puts your ears out and had to unplug.

handy little device, haven't needed it for any situations, but knowing its there is comforting.

What an awesome product in a small light-weight device...has so many features that could come in handle in case of an emergency.

Carry handle is great..little more confusing to use than previous models that we've bought. Still great option to have in our radio inventory. They need to stop printing instruction in such small print...get tired of having to use magnifying glass to read it. Would reccommend..
