I bought these originally for our family when we might go camping. We never really had a chance to use them. This past weekend, our dog was lost on a mountain and we used this to coordinate with each other. We did not have cell phone service, so it was really helpful to have. Range was great! Good quality! Easy to use! The one thing to be careful about is attaching it to your waistband. We lost one because we were navigating really thick brush and it was attached to the waistband using the clip provided. You may want to attach it through a belt loop.

Purchased these 2-way communication radio for the outdoors, hiking and camping. Great Range of up to 28-miles! Clear communication, easy to operate, and easy to dock inside the included charging cradle. The added USB charging option is also a great addition from the older models.

The two ways radio is easy to use. The voice on the hand sets were very clear. The signals were very good.

I searched for awhile on which type of walkie talkies I wanted to get. And came across these ones. I’m so glad I did. They are reasonably priced, they work really well. I got them for me and my 4 year old daughter to play with and she is obsessed with them. She thinks they’re so fun. They are easy to use which is nice.definitely worth it.

These radios worked perfect in the woods. I bought them so I could communicate with my bro in law while hunting because cell phone service is nonexistent where we go. Good range and easy to use with gloves on. I also bought the in ear cable so volume wasn’t a huge deal. These radios have amazing speakers that can be loud

These walkies provide a great value and are easy to use. I purchased them so I could teach my wife and kids the basics of communication long range in case there were an emergency. They're also convenient at a fair and of course camping.

These were great little, easy-to-use, compact walkie talkies. I loved everything about them and was excited to take them along on a trip to the lake. We clipped them onto the shoulder of our life vests and unfortunately, my partner fell off her paddleboard. This was pretty shallow water and she was able to immediately pop back up onto her board, making sure the device wasn't submerged in water that long... maybe 15 seconds from start to finish, max. I immediately attempted to contact her from my device, and hers was inoperable. It's 3 days later and it still doesn't work. I'll be contacting the manufacturer and hope I can get a replacement with a product that's actually waterproof.

Good range we use it at our apt. For my son (9) while he's down at the basketball court he can contact immediately if need be so through all the buildings we can communicate with clear ease

I didn't read the instructions upon buying these. They were bought as a test baby for inter-office communications. When they are paired with the headsets; made by midland as well; they are flawless. 2 way communication, talk on the channel and it will sense your voice if you want it to. Want the local weather? just push a button. 28 miles away? no problem. definitely would consider buying these again, and I probably will. They come with a recharging stand and if you lose that, just use micro-usb to recharge them.

Many choices for channel's to use and send codes over or listening to aslo . Bought for my grandchildren to use with parents are swapmeet and amusement parks. Simple and easy to use! We bought it for our elderly mother to contact us anywhere in the house and it works perfect, loud and clear reception.

I live in a two story house with a full basement that contains a studio where I spend a good deal of time. My wife has some medical issues and I purchased the 2-way radios so that she could reach me when she is on the second floor and I am in the studio working. For that purpose, all is good. I thought the 28 mile distance would allow me the freedom to leave the house and make short trips with my wife still being able to reach me by simply pushing a button. On my first outing, less than a mile from the house, we were no longer able to communicate. 28 miles seems to be nothing more than a fantasy. Communication outside the house remains a phone call and not the push of a button away.

Good buy for the money. Simple to use. Not too many buttons to worry about, but gets the job done. (Similar products have more options which make the items more complex to use.) Great for youngsters and older people. True hikers and campers may want something more, but really these work!

These things have been perfect. Don't save a few bucks on the lower end ones...it's not worth it. I tried a couple others and they were a nightmare. These one have a great charging station that charges BOTH units at the same time. Turn 'em on and they just work!!

Good price for a must have for your hurricane/storm kit. Fairly easy to use and dependable.

We use the radio's with our 36' RV for backing up and tight spots. very easy to use and sound quality is good. Don't know about the range. worked good about a block away. That's the furthest we have been.

Great set of radios. Have not tested range but they do pick up 2 different weather channels where I live, in a rural area. Easy to use and set up. Worth the purchase.
