My son didn't like the game. he said it was boring.

This game only has the first episode. You have to have xbox live to play the other 4 episodes. I feel like I wasted my money as now the complete story with 8 episodas is out and cheaper than what I paid for this one.

This Disc will only guarantee you content for episodes 1-5. Episodes 6-7 are not included in this disc. For this reason, I can't recommend this item to anyone.

My 6yr old loves the idea of this game but got really bored I think he's only played it twice.

Grandkids only played for awhile. Not worth the money

the story is pointless, acting is horrible, but has easy achievements.

Like many minecraft obsessed kiddies, my 5th grader opened this with excitement. He thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment value of this game. Although not real time action, the story itself was fun to watch for him and allowed for him to really get into the scenes. He loved that he had control of making things happen based on his choices.

This is a very good add-on for your little minecraft fans; it adds structure to the open-play world while still being fun. It was their favorite Christmas gift.

It's got a cool story, and it's pretty easy for kids to play through. There are only a few places where you would "fail" or "die" and there's a quick restart so you can keep playing. Lots of reading too. I play it too. It's fun little game.

I picked it for my kids as they are heavily into minecraft anything. But who's kids aren't right? Even though it's only a 1 player game the whole story mode play type is actually fun to play and the kids can't put it down.

Purchased this game for my son for XMAS. Great way to allow him to be creative, building worlds and having fun at the same time.

I am very disappointed in this game. My son was elated to have this under the tree. In full disclosure the rating is E10+ my son is 8 so I guess I failed. That being said I wouldn't want a 10 year old subjected to the language in this game. The game sounds more like GTA than a kids game. I wont put the words i heard in this review but my assessment is TV-MA; south park type language, that may be okay for some but not for me and my child. Not only that, but the game seems ultra boring and laggy, not much game play just a lot of foul mouthed talking. Shame on the makers of this game marketing this to kids, at least I got it on sale so I didn't lose as much money as I could have.

Minecraft Story Mode is perfect for those who love adventure games! Great story and fun to play! God bless

My kids like it but some of the talking is off and lagging and they think it's annoying when it happens, they still have fun playing it. If your kid can't read yet I wouldn't recommend getting this because it's a lot of reading and answering questions unlike regular mine raft where you can just build I haven't seen any building in this just conversation.... More like and animal crossing I guess.. But I think animal crossing is better.

My sons love mine craft and have the pc, pocket (tablet) and regular Xbox editions. They were very excited for this and like the game but frustrated because they can't play together

I bought for my kids as they wanted to play a story related to the world of Minecraft. I haven't heard any complaints, but it is somewhat deceiving to find out that the game came with a season pass code, but I have to purchase the last two episodes separately. Apparently, they were not available when we installed the game.

Game is nothing like the other minecraft game. It has a fantastic story mode.
