No fuss installation, small and effective, only negative is the green LED power light is much too bright for a bedroom

not for computers but great for routers and such. I use it for my router, cable modem and internet phone.

I'm using it to power two wireless cameras. Great so far

This unit is small and easy to install and requires little space. It has limited applications. Great for phones, small networks, clocks and radios. Not for computers. Backup works as described, with minimal features. Power light is very bright.

It was out of the box easy to install. It serves the purpose of providing me with the power surge coverage and flickers of electricity we get during storms. We rarely loose power but get tiny flickers all the time. My router and cable modem are connected and I get no interruption in connection. inexpensive and does the job couldn't ask for better

Bought it to use on my Ooma phone device and router as well as modem.I have had 3 power outages since my purchase and it does exactly what I needed it to do,namely keep my phone operational.Power was out for an hour an one occasion and we still had our phone.Great

I was having problems with a remote router locking up when the power failed / brown outs. It required my going to the site to power cycle the device. This inexpensive low power backup was just what I was looking for since I didn't want to have to invest in an full size UPS backup. No more lockups since my install!

Fortunately I haven't had a power outage yet, but it's important to have communications available during outages especially when your phone service is through the cable company. It's great to get extended power time for your cable modems, routers and cable amps. When an outage happens I'll update my review.

We have problems where we live with the electricity just going out for a few seconds for no particular reason (and just about every time there is a storm). This works great for the cable modem and wireless router that we have on it!

The little backup does exactly that; backup simple devices. As some others have commented/complained, it won't accept a 3-prong grounded plug; its not designed to! (look at the picture / read the description). I have mine backing up my radio alarm clock (doesn't have internal battery) and my house cordless phone. It's small and run silent. It won't provide a whole lot of backup but plenty for simple devices. If you are unsure, spend another $10 for the next model up. My only complaint is the green LED power light. It is BRIGHT. A piece of duct tape placed lightly over it will do the trick.

What a bright green light you have! No, there's no way to turn it off. Also, the one I received has a APC battery test slip from 18 months ago, so I wonder how long this will actually last. We shall see!

This item is inexpensive and is perfect for protecting your network modem and router. Highly recommended to prevent damage from spikes or surges and to keep the network running for a short time after a blackout.

I'm running my WiFi router and a DSL modem from this UPS and for now, no complains at all. The unit is bigger than what I was expecting. Right now I'm posting this with the UPS running a test. I'll recommend this.

Perfect for modem, router and other networking equipment. 3 prong plugs would be nice to have for some things.

Great experience with APC company products over the years. Bought this to protect/back up my cable modem and router in the house. This will ensure I still have wifi even if power is interrupted.

it seems to be working as stated so far. My electricity "flickers" a lot and I have a heavy duty batttery surge protector on my computer however, if the electricity goes out so does my wifi. That's where this little gadget comes in. It's been tested a couple of times already and is living up to its claims. Just know that this little guy can only support a wifi set up and maybe charge a cell phone in the event of an outage. It's not for a computer.
