My husband is incredibly active but was very interested in measuring the quality of his sleep. I bought this for him as a gift and it has been very accurate measuring his activity level and provided some insight into his sleep patterns. This model is very low profile, the band looks nice and he says it is very comfortable to wear. Highly recommend the Fitbit Shine!

Tracks movement including sleep. Very nice that it can clip on limbs to track movement like bike riding.

I really enjoy the misfit shine. It is very comfortable and I hardly notice that it is on my wrist. I am hoping that they will be updating the software soon to add more features, but it is easy to use. I bought the silver necklace and it was beautiful, however I only wore it for 2 hours and my neck broke out in a huge rash all the way around where the chain was sitting. It would be nice if they came out with more accessories for it.

a;soI hoped to also be able to use it as a watch, but the display is impossible to see in the sun. I'd like to be able to calibrate it so the distance covered is accurate. For example, I hiked a known distance of 4 miles, but the Misfit only gave me credit for 2.7 miles.

I bought this and the wristband for my wife for Christmas. We are avid swimmers and divers so she really wanted one that can be worn while swimming. We are Android users and Misfit claims that it will sync with Androids (Samsung Galaxy specifically). It would not sync. At all. Luckily we have an iPad which it sync flawlessly up with. Since then, my wife has had no problems with it and loves it's flexibility. She wears it with the magnet during the day and on the wristband at night to monitor her sleep. Highly recommend if you are an Apple user.

Love that it is waterproof. Very easy to use and wear.

Ease to use, works good for beginners is perfect, sleep mode is some what accurate.

I bought this product one month ago. It tracks steps well and syncs to heathkit on the iPhone. I like the fact that the deep mode starts automatically and seems very accurate. I recommend this product.

The Shine does what it claims. It does not have a lot of fluff, tracking only steps and sleep patterns. The band is not secure. Be careful when wearing, the Shine tends to fall out, 4 times so far for me. Misfit sent me a new band, same problem

Hard to figure out which way to put battery in. After that working good.

I have this one since you can swim with it. I love the look and the app.

It's a good thing to use to help keep track of how much you exercise.

Only complaint is that the tracker falls out of the band sometimes.

I am an avid swimmer, and thought it would be useful to get a watch that could track my fitness in the pool. After about a week of test-driving it, I was not overly satisfied. The watch, while non-instrusive, is very inaccurate. It's also very difficult to set up and sync with my phone. It seemed to do a decent enough job on my sleeping patterns, which I will admit was really cool, but, it wasn't enough for me to keep it. I returned the Misfit, and picked up a Moto 360. I am MUCH happier.

This was a great deal and works wonderfully for me. This holds up to a lot of banging around. The misfit shine is awesome for keeping track of your activity throughout a day. Since getting this I have been more conscience of making sure I stay active. It has been very helpful.

I had the jawbone and loved all the features. I hated how bulky it was and it got a little wet while washing my hands and the whole thing stopped working. I exchanged it for the misfit shine and love the slim line style as well as the simplicity of use. I wish it tracked more activities like the jawbone did, but I like it a lot and love that it is waterproof. I have stopped wearing a watch because I just had too many things on my wrist. The clock feature works ok, but it is a little annoying because you can't just glance at your watch and see the time. you have to wait for it to flash the lights to indicate the time.

Like it allot, especially being able to use when swimming.
