While the screen works well on my laptop it is heavy at times and has fallen due to the magnets not sticking. I had to prop it up when it's open so it doesn't slide down while I'm working.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Works great but the magnets that come in the box aren’t strong enough; definitely get some double sided heavy duty tape and works well
