We had a direct lightning struck that ran all the way through our home, In the A.C. and out the garage door opener. It took out everything electronically that we owned. My inspector said if we hadn’t had these Monster surge protectors, we would have had a fire and lost everything. Now in my home, we plug everything into these!!!

A good basic surge protector.

The 6 AC outlets are as many as I need, and there is a coaxial throughput for cable. There are also a couple of outlets for USB phone/tablet chargers which I don't really need because you can charge those things pretty much anywhere. There's not a lot more to say: it's a pretty basic piece of equipment.
