What of pixar's best movies Outside of the quality of writing quality of acting the 4K release of this movie really shines a light on how brilliant the technology was that went into making the characters the environment in the movie overall Everything from the sound, To the motion of the characters, Even on Sully are dancing with accuracy and brilliance. And if you really into pixar, and the pixar theory you know how important this movie is A definite must own

I remember watching this movie in the theater where the only audience was myself and my 2 friends. It is one of Pixar's best films in my opinion. The story is fun and creative and the voice acting is upper tier. Glad to finally own this classic on Blu-ray, I find the audio commentary to be particularly interesting.

Good movie to watch with a kid. Not something you would hate to watch and something that is good for them as well.

My 2 little ones love watching their Monsters movie!! It's really nice to see all of these great movies come out on multi format to use however and whenever! I personally have come to use the digital copy on my Smart TV. SOO much easier than having to put a disk in and take it out and also with the digital copy I don't have to worry about my toddlers opening up the DVD/Blu Ray player and scratching up the movies that cost a lot of money over time.

Excellent Pixar movie. The steelbook quality is still there; and the design is simple on this title. Inside is a cute picture. The actual movie, Monster's Inc., is a great movie to watch for children and even adults that don't grow up. For those not around when this was originally released, this was the best thing to happen in 2001.

I was very particular about this release. This was one of the first Pixar movies I ever saw, I grew up on Monsters Inc to a point where I practically know every line and frame by heart. The 4K disc really gives this image new life, it’s like I was watching it for the first time. The sound was excellent too. 100% worth the purchase.

Always a great movie to watch with the grandkids and such a classic movie

Monsters, Inc. is a factory which sends monsters around the world to scare kids who are trying to sleep. It's nothing personal, in fact the screams are used to power Monstropolis where the monsters live. This job isn't easy for the monsters, who believe children are toxic. James P. Sullivan, a large woolly blue monster, is one of the company's top scarers. Teamed up with a troublesome green one-eyed monster named Mike Wazowski, the two roommates and best friends are finding that today's kids are not as easily scared as they used to be. One night Sulley accidentally lets a young girl named Boo into the monster world. Now Sulley and Mike must risk their own safety as they race to get Boo back into the human world without letting anyone know of her existence.

Pixar has that magic of just making you want to suddenly watch their films again out of the blue.  I love the conspiracy angle this film takes and that all these crazy events take place seemingly over three days. And Randall might be one of my favorite animated villains ever, his design and Steve Buscemi's voice work alone floor me.

This movie has the same delicious mixture of heart, humor, and technical wizardry that made A Bug's Life and the two Toy Story movies before it into instant classics. It's utterly delightful. It's also funny, the characters are endearing, the monster world is cleverly developed, and the Pixar gang really has fun with this one.

Great movie that no matter the age fun for the whole family

I updated my copy from a DVD to the Blu-ray with the 3D copy.

Pixar does it again, the original Monsters Inc Has it all. Great for all ages, this is the first time it is being released UHD 4K and its a nice upgrade over the standard blu ray and the Dolby Atmos track is worth the price for die hard fans of the movie. A blu ray disc and digital copy are also included. Recommended

I already had the move just wanted to upgrade to the 4K format. I liked the move when it was originally released on DVD/blu-ray and still like it. Love the characters. Sulley (John Goodman) and Mike Wazowski (Billy Crystal) make the perfect team to get Boo back home.. way to go guys!

Loved monsters inc. This is one of my favs from Pixar. Always wanted them to make a second part to it with Boo perhaps grown up. But I think it’s best to just leave as is. Of course the ending is a bit sad but regardless very nice film. Steelbook is glossy with embossed movie title! Very nice steelbook

This is simply one of the best Pixar films to date, and is expectedly much better than its sequel as well. I’m so glad it finally released on 4K UHD Blu-ray. The steelbook matches the other Pixar films that also recently released in this format. Get them all to complete your collection!

The artwork on this latest batch of Pixar steels is every bit as beautiful as the films themselves. They truly saved some of the best for last. Vibrant colors, rich detail, and it tells you everything you need to know about the film just by looking at it. Any Pixar fan needs this on their shelf!

I have a soft spot for this movie, as it was my wife and I's first date, so I may be a bit biased. But, I find the animation in this movie to be excellent and the plot is cute and whimsical in a way that really draws you in to love the characters and feel their emotion. It has plenty of laughs for kids and adults, and even some classic jokes/bits that I've heard referenced outside of the movie.
