This not only covers all my products I purchased from Best Buy, they came out and uninstalled all my wall mounted televisions and came to my new home and wall mounted all my televisions throughout the home after I moved. This is a superb extended warranty service as well, although I would like to be able to warranty my TVs for longer than 2 years even if it was a + tier that provided this service over the current program. I’ve never had one of my TVs need repair but the peace of mind would be worth more than the 2 year warranty with TotalTech. Sigh me up for TotalTech+ $399 and 5 year’s coverage on my high end televisions and audio equipment.

I compare Geek Squad to Jiffy Lube, anyone with access to Google and a decent set of tools could conceivably do themselves. But most folks don't have the time or patience to fix issues themselves. Whether I think the services cost more than they should be is irrelevant So long story short, the price is worth it if you think you are getting your money's worth.

For the last 10 years everything I purchased from Best Buy. I always add the protection plan nothing beats it.

I have always been skeptical of extended warranty’s; thats now a thing if the past. Total Tech has covenred all my purchases from day one, including 60 day return/ price match, tech support, and so much more; its really a no brainer. I had a $300 gaming headset fail, flatout fail, in about 9 months of ownership; COVERED! A mouse that had intermittent connectivity issues, COVERED. But, here is where it made me a long time customer of Total Tech, my laptop. A while back my laptop caught fire/ smoked itself as a result I thought I was out $2k…Guess what, COVERED! A $2000 laptop covered and I was able to be reimbursed and choose a new machine. Now thats a win.
