I think it's very important to have protection in case something happens that's beyond your control.

This is great. But if you have the monthly renewal they deny it, if it is on the day before it renews.

I have been a Best Buy total protect member for a few years now and I have to tell you it is a must. Everything you purchase is covered for two years with an option to extend it on items if needed. I had an issue with my quest 3 having some tracking issues a little over a year from having it. I was able to exchange it for a new one without any issues. If you happen to be into tech it’s a definite must have.
