If quirky odd ball horror is your bag, then you won't go wrong with Motel Hell. It's such a strange mix of oddities, (it did laughs, chainsaws and cannibalism before Texas Chainsaw 2) that Farmer Vincent charms as wells as disturbs. The blu ray does not have the best video, but it sure beats the DVD, and loads of special features to help you understand how this horror cult classic came to be! It does take all kinds of critters to appreciated Farmer Vincent's fritters!

This is a cult classic and an all around great movie!!! Hard to find, so I was glad to buy it!

This is a great 80s slasher movie definitely one of the hidden gems. If your a slasher movie fan or 80s horror film fan then you will love this movie. Also the artwork on the Steelbook looks great & it also has the original movie in 4K format as well that you can watch. It’s not an extra 4K disc it’s just an option on the main menu. These scream factory/shout factory Blu-ray/4K Steelbook releases sell out quickly do you not many being made for each release so grab this while you still can.

This movie is one of those movies that being raised during the 80’s caught your attention, freaked you out, and left an impression that you just had to own it. The movie itself is not the greatest, but the concept and how it was filmed had all of the boxes checked on what made a good 80’s horror movie. Definitely made me second guess eating and sleeping in family owned businesses in rural areas. Lol. This version comes in a cool limited edition steel book that is worth owning for its cool artwork. Looks good on a shelf.

I don't know how many people remember this movie of have even heard of it, but I consider it once of the best campy 80's horror/comedy movies. It was one of those movies that they played repeatedly when cable tv was first launched, so maybe I have more nostalgia for it that what its worth, but its a fun flick.

Shout did a new 4k scan presented in 1080p for this steelbook. It is a massive upgrade in image quality over Shout's previous release. For fans of the movie it is no-brainer purchase especially if you don't own the first release.

Any horror movie that has a psychotic murderer wearing a pig mask and weilding a chainsaw has my attention! The new 4K transfer is exclusive to this release, and as such really gives the colors an extra pop!

did not find this one til later in my quest for horror movies. it is a blast and has the feel of texas chainsaw but not as aggressive. it is comical at times but ads charm to this early 80s classic.

An unusual horror movie back in the day. A perfect mix of humor and horror. I have always admired this movie since I saw as a kid in the theaters. It has a strange sensibility but wins you over in the end.

One of the classic, fun slashers of the golden age of slashers in the early 1980s. It’s one you’ll want to watch multiple times if you’re a fan of the genre.

A slightly lesser known slasher from the 80’s that you should definitely check out. This Blu-Ray is a great release with plenty of bonus features and a nice transfer.

an oddball horror comedy released during a time where Slashers were King. Scream Factory just release a new 4K scan steenbok, so if you are fan, think about upgrading.
