I have a Moto Z Force Droid and mostly used it with a Tumi Power Pack with Wireless charging. This setup worked really well when out and about, as I didn't have to worry about running out of battery when out of the house. the problem is that setup is heavy and bulky. with just the Qi/PMA back on my phone, I can put the phone on the wireless charger I have at my desk and always be topped off without fear of weakening my USB-C port on the phone. it also makes the phone light again and not as noticeable in my pocket. For the life of me, I cant figure out why this shell didn't come out when the phone did (wasn't released until the Z2 phones were avail), and I also cant figure out why it's so much thicker than a regular Style Shell. but still worth it. the price is kinda steep thou.

works great feel scared to not grip tightly with out that extra bulk from the other moto mods. works really well with wireless charging pads. charging pads however i have issues with. maybe because of the 5 watt output. because i know my power brick is a 3.1 output. 15 Watt pads no problem thus far.

Bought this to make the Motorola z2 wireless charging capable, not only this back plate allows that but it also looks very sophisticated on the back of the phone very unique looking due to the design and the cloth back of the plate stands out and looks very good. i am very happy with this purchase.

I purchased a separate protective case that allows easy removal and application of mods, and was in the market for a backer piece to protect the back of the back of the phone (more so concerned with the mod port). This is a good option, and adds the option to wirelessly charge the phone. I purchased a separate Insignia wireless charger, which works with all Q4 enabled phones. The phone charges wirelessly; however, when you first put it on the charger, it doesn't immediately recognize the phone. Once you life it up and put it back down, the phone will start charging. Charging is relatively quick, about half the time of a normal charger.

Having had a qi ready phone prior to my moto z, I have been eager to get that feature back. This mod does it! Pretty simple. Makes phone a bit thicker for those who love the skinniness of the z. $19.99 would be a dynamite price!

This mod provides a premium feel to the phone. It almost replaces the premium feel of the phone without a mod. The ink stamp is a little disappointing, but the texture of the fabric is worth overlooking this branding after thought. The wireless charging has been hit or miss for me. It might be the charging base, might be the mod, might be the phone. However, the feel of this mod on the phone is well work the purchase if you are spending the day at in and not out and about.

This wireless charging mod looks great and has a nice feel in hand. It's a little thicker than the original style shell so the camera is recessed a little bit.

It is nice but really only if you prefer to wireless charge your Moto Z phone and to add better grip and texture but besides that it’s really nothing extra and because of that I took off 1 star but since it doesn’t claim to do anything besides add wireless charging so if you like wireless charging and don’t use a case, this would be nice for you.

Simple, aesthetically pleasing and easy to use. For the price, it is awesome to be able to have both major wireless charging standards on a single cell phone. The corduroy-design looks sharp, but is slightly more slippery than the 1st Gen MOTO Z's woodgrain blank Style Shell. If you have a compatible phone, I definitely recommend this shell! (Note: I tried wireless charging with my Qi-enabled Nokia Lumia charging pad. Charger pushed about 20% in 20 minutes. Not too bad, reall!

This is one of the best looking moto style shells around. The gray nylon fabric is really unique and eye catching as it almost has a little shimmer to it. It really looks awesome. Now I have charcoal ash, silver oak, red nylon, black leather and gray nylon with Qi wireless charging style shells. This gray nylon style shell is probably the best looking of the bunch. It also provides a little better grip over the wood shells. As for the wireless charging, it works great with my Choetech wireless charging pad. It connects perfectly and charges somewhat fast but just don't expect Motorola Turbo Charging speed. I would definitely recommend this style shell.

I really like the herringbone pattern. Mod works well with Qi charging pad I purchased. Four stars instead of five because charge time is significantly slower than with standard Turbo charge cable

Its nice to be able to charge my phone without plugging it in, but the case makes the phone a little slippery and it tends to pop off occasionally.

This is a nice attachment for my Z2 force. It gives texture to the back of the phone so it doesn't slip out of your hand so easily. Plus adds wireless charging

Works very well and looks better than the included back cover for the MOTO Z play. It came free as a package with the phone.

This thing is pretty great. I drive for Uber, so my GPS uses a good portion of my battery. Previously, I'd have to plug a charging cable into my phone each time I wanted a charge... Quite annoying. Now with my wireless charging phone holder + this Wireless Charging Shell, I just put my phone in the holder and I'm good. I'm REALLY glad that they made this the Herringbone, because I love the look, and the texture is very nice. Only one downside, that being charging speed. Now it's advertised that you can use 10W wireless charging. You can't. This is a widespread issue that's been spoken on all over the internet. Mind you, I have 2 wireless chargers, both being 10W fast chargers, yet my phone only charges slowly. I knew this would be an issue, and it isn't a big deal for me personally, but I know some will be upset. Still 5 stars for me despite possibly false advertising, because I knew in advance and I'm not whiny. Buy it if you want the wonderful convenience of wireless charging AND want your phone to look even better.

Great item from Motorola, but disapointed that it is not incorporated permanetly into the phobe somehow. Samsung and Apple do it. It's just inconvenient to remove and reattach. With alk tbat said I would still recommend it.

I love this shell case! Was so easy to add to my phone. Now I don’t have to plug in my phone anymore when I need to charge it. I just set it down on the wireless charger and presto it charges it.

nice looking but necessary addition to the phone. I wish I had known about this prior to purchase. The salesman almost made it sound like an "option".
