After decades of dealing with an old Samsung Intercept I finally upgraded the cell phone with this Moto G6 Play. Scouring the net for affordable options to the ridiculously expensive iPhones and clones, I decided to stick with the Android OS since that is what I have become accustomed to from day one. On sale at Bestbuy when I finally did some real-world browsing in person, I lucked out and snagged the last one on the rack. After two weeks of enjoying the huge screen, fast speed, great camera, long--lasting battery with turbocharge and the multitudes of bells and whistles, I declare that this phone offers the most bang for the buck for budget-minded android users. Five Stars in it's price range!

Bought this phone for my son. Set up was easy. Screen is clear and bright. He was really happy about the fingerprint security. Apps run smooth. It has been goofing a charge for more than a day of use each time. The SD card slot is a small door on the side of the phone. That is a bit hard to open with the supplied too. It slides out to mount the SD card. It could break easily, so just be careful. Overall, it seems to be a good purchase for $129.00

I bought the Virgin Mobile Moto G6 at Best Buy in Lacey to play Pokemon Go. The associate set up the phone up most of the way; however, he couldn't get data to work. After 30 minutes, I told him I'd call Virgin Mobile to fix it and we left. 2 1/2 hours later, after many calls to a center in India where I got the same scripted answer over and over, I still don't have data. The phone has a 14-day refund period (which I plan to use) but the prepaid plans do not. If you buy this phone on Virgin Mobile's network, you can't get a refund for the plan you pay for in advance, and you can't take this phone to a different carrier. As for the phone itself: PROS: Fast processing speed, large screen. CONS: Heavy, not user-friendly, battery isn't removable... and the SD card slot is really difficult to access --- if you need to remove your SD card, you also have to remove your SIM card with a little metal hook.

Long battery life, large screen, fast, plenty of memory with additional SD card, fast charging. It has a very slick outer shell, so a case is necessary to keep a grip on it.

Experiences some glitches, restarts randomly and fingerprint sensor could work better. However, it is great for the price: it has a long battery life, the camera is nice, and the screen resolution is crisp.

I bought a Moto e4 18 months ago which didn't have a fingerprint reader. So I wanted to try out that feature with my new purchase. Turns out to not be a big deal. I like the phone. It's fast. Really like the bigger screen ! It takes great photos and meets all of my needs (texting, talking, occasional research, highway directions).

I was going on a trip and bought this phone because it supposedly had a good camera and ample storage. When I got to my destination, the entire camera shut down. I spent 3 hours with Virgin Mobile tech and they couldn't even fix it. What a waste of a vacation day. I guess you get what you pay for. Fortunately I brought my tablet with me and was able to take pics with that.

Great battery life. Very nice camera. I do not like factory apps and spent a bit of time delelting them all but that is standard for new phones today.

I'm loving the battery life and it can run most apps flawlessly. Only issue is slow downs when multiple apps are running.

My mom loves this phone. It's fast and takes pretty good pics.

I upgraded to this phone and was very happy with the purchase. I like the screen size and clarity. The only issue I had with the phone is I got a Sim Card error, but i fixed it by putting the card back on the tray that slides into the phone. I would have given it 5 stars if I did not get that error.

The Motorola G6 Play is a fantastic phone for the price. The screen resolution and video quality is great. The sound quality is very good. The camera takes good pics for a phone.

My husband's biggest complaint with this phone is that it has pop up ads all of the time. It's within the phone. It's trying to get you to use specific apps. He finds it frustrating. He also has been unable to receive texts from people he was previously able to. So now we have to go into the store to get help to figure out why this is happening. On the flip side. This has a pretty nice camera in it and the screen & sound quality is great. Still learning on this.

Easy to use. Buying another one for a family member. Nice vibrant color and nice camera for the price

Just needed a basic cell phone with good camera. Exceeds requirements!

I helped my 89 year old mother pick this out and set it up. She is still overwhelmed by it. It doesn't seem to be the way it works, rather the way she works that is the difficulty. It is too easy to change the settings, and we keep having to restore them to previous settings.

This phone works decently for a basic mobile phone. Nothing extraordinary that you'd expect from a higher priced phone. Does what it needs to.
