Customers value the S11-HD Bluetooth Headphones for their exceptional sound quality, comfort during extended wear, long battery life, and secure fit that doesn't fall out during physical activities. While some users appreciate the wireless feature, a few have expressed concerns about the limited volume and sweat resistance of the headphones.

This is my second s11-hd and in between I used the s10 also by Motorola. The s10 had great voice recognition for Bluetooth phone calls. It had buttons to control music such as play, Ff, RWD but the sound quality and volume level were terrible. The S11-Hd which I am reviewing has very good sound quality and volume level (when I turn it up to max, I can't hear any ambient sound). Its battery lasts for hours. On average about 7 to 8 hours with volume at almost max. The design is very good. The parts that go in the ears are flexible and the little rubber things you add to the earplugs don't fall off (unlike the Motorola S10, in 2 months all 3 pairs had fallen off and were lost) and these are very comfortable, I wear these headphones for hours and do not feel any discomfort at all. Now the drawbacks are the hands free Bluetooth parts. Voice commands only work 2 out of 10 times (even then, I have to be in a perfectly quiet location) When I get a call, I usually have to take the call manually because the person on the other end of the call can't hear me (which worked exceptionally well on the S10 by Mororola, I wish they could have combined the best of both Bluetooth headsets) and turn off the Bluetooth so I can use the phone. Another drawback is the lack of other controls on the device. Just on/off, volume up/down and Bluetooth sync. No play/pause, FF or RWD. I have to reach in my pocket every time I want to do any of those things. Finally, on this new S11-HD, it does not turn itself off after a long period of inactivity. On the previous generation, I used to just press volume up or down to check if it was on, then I could play music or just decide to turn off. Now, pressing up or down after it has been inactive for a little bit yields no result even if it's turned on. So as a result, I have to press the power button and subsequent sound that it makes tells me if it was on or off (annoying). Overall I am very satisfied with this device. I would recommend to someone who wants it primarily for music listening (set up a playlist and don't PAUSE, FFW or RWD) and you will be happy, especially at the gym. The range is quite good but not as good as the previous generation S11-HD (Previous model, I could usually leave the room with the paired device and go to the second floor in our house without losing signal, with this generation, I start losing signal as I get at top of the stairs). So in a straight line of sight with no blockage, it works realistically up to a good 75ft.

I LOVE these headphones. I was looking for something to use with my iPhone while walking. My ear buds were always falling out of my ears. These are killer awesome! I put the band in to make it a little smaller and they sit perfectly at the back of my head, close to my neck, I bring them up around my ears, swivel the ear pieces for a perfect fit and voila! Beautiful music! They paired easily with my iPhone 4S which I carry in my pocket. No loss of signal and the sound is outstanding. Rich and full.
The controls are easy to learn and to use. Every time I turn it on it automatically syncs - no problems.
I'm not sure how long the charge will last. It's been very chilly and I haven't walked in over a week and I just put them on and they started right up. Still going strong.
I don't know about durability as I've only used them a few times so far, but I do know they're very comfortable. Put them on and walk. I don't have to worry about shoving my buds back into my ears anymore! I concentrate on my walking and with these, I walk farther!

Hello, I needed something to hook via bluetooth to my phone. I was hesitant at first. I figured it was to good to be true. Bluetooth, take calls on it (if you have a note 3 watch this completes you!) water proof, great sound, recharges quickly, light, durable, can wear it to bed. Well its all true and with a $15 warranty it just can't be topped. 70 ft range.

Overall this would be a great unit for someone using it as both a headset for music and talk on a more regular basis. I wanted something that would stay put in my ears while i was physically busy (ie folding laundry) while on the phone. It is WONDERFUL for that and stays in my ears well. Most bluetooths don't because my ear canals are small. Took me quite a few days of draining the battery before figuring out where the on/off light indicator is. It is the size of a pin head and in an odd spot to see. Directions for usage are poor and too minimal in my estimation. Sound quality is 5 star.

These Motorola S 11 Bluetooth Headphones Sound Great . They come with different size changeable ear buds. My S 11s stay in place while Im on the elipticle machine. These headphones talk to you. Setup, how many hours you have left on the charge and when the batteries charge is running low. You can also forward and reverse by touching hidden buttons on the headset. No wires! The only bad thing is that while working out I can't rest your head while laying on my back. Put the right size ear buds in and you'll get some bass! Also great for talking on the phone..

Comfortable, good sound and long battery life. I have a problem with any ear bud types. One or the other will fall out of my ear when the sweating starts. But, overall, a good set of headphones.

Had a pair of s10's first. After nine months of daily use speaker died. When purchasing new set decided to try s11's. The s11's have slightly better sound quality and are more comfortable than the s10's. Only problem is durability. Fatigued and broke after four months on a blue set. Had purchased best buys insurance for $15 or less and they took care of me without having to mail them to Motorola. Good job best buy. Second set is black and has had some issues the blue set didn't have. I.e. problem powering up, play/pause button will power down headphones, and very picky on charging even since new with a new charger. Even with this lots problems definitely worth the money and slight inconvenience. Only way to listen to music on the go.

Good battery life, did however get really low in one bud after 2 weeks. With my protect plan swapped it out without a hassel. Good sound, easy controls, decent range. Overall good headphones.

I bought these for my wife as a Christmas gift. They were on sale for $59.99 and worth every penny. The sound is better than the Jaybird Freedom bluetooth headphones that I own. The fit is more comfortable also. The down side is that there is no protective case and I fear that they may be destroyed if thrown into my wife's purse or pocket.

I purchased this product to replace the Motorola S10 headset due to the fact that the S10 has inadequate volume when trying to use it in noisy environments.
The S11 works fine and I would have given it 5 stars, except I can't always figure out when it's turned on. It appears you have to push the power button twice to turn it on like the S10, but I end up watching the device I'm trying to connect to see when it connects as the blue indicator is slow in indicating power on.
Sound quality is excellent for my purposes, listening to music while working out, mostly.

I have been using these at the gym while I am on the elliptical or the weight machines. I have not had any problems - they have been performing very well. They fit tight enough so they are not bouncing all over the place while I move. I only listen to podcasts with them so I cannot vouch for how well music sounds. Love not having a cord in the way when moving around. Very nice

I bought these earphones because i wanted to be free of the wires that connect to my iPhone, especially being a runner. Typical ear pieces can fall out due to sweating too much or the jarring with every stride. This stays put and doesn't bounce on my head which could be very annoying. Battery life is good. I took a chance and found that I am very happy with this purchase.

Great headset for outdoor running. The feature of being able to pair to more than one device, its durability and long lasting battery makes the Motorola - S11-HD an awesome product.
