They don't last more than a few weeks - then die.

I am on my FOURTH one of these headphones and it just died today. That is why I feel compelled to write this review. Did Motorola put out a faulty product??? Three of them died different deaths within the first two-three weeks after using it. One died the very first day. Maybe the sweat gets to them. Not sure but they shut off and then won't charge. About to take my fourth one back because it died today. This is so frustrating. Who has time for this? Looks like I'm not alone from the other reviews.

    Poor fit and expensive

I tried all the difference "ear gels" that came with it and couldn't prevent it from popping out of my ears after I broke a sweat. Sound quality was good, but having it come off while running makes the sound quality a moot point. I replaced it with an Arriva Leo (fits incredibly well) and also tried the Jabra Sport (fits well too). Both of these are also wireless Bluetooth headphones. The other headphones all cost less than $100, so the SF600s are pricey compared to others in the same category.

Had high hopes...but not my first choice

I have been looking for a pair of BT headphones for running. Read the reviews on the Jaybird Freedom, and saw on the bestbuy.com site that they were in stock at my local store. Got there, but the Jaybirds had been sold, so I saw the Motorola SF600 and decided to give them a try. I'm returning them today, after about 30 days. - Design. Couple things annoyed me; the "string" that connects the two earpieces is too short. When you take the earpieces off, you can't hang them around your neck, since the string is too short. Also, the pieces that hang behind your ear are not light, and shifted around when I ran. - Sound. Good enough. In fact, I was pleasantly surprised how clear and loud they are. - Functions. Good. Volume easy to adjust on the run, and to navigate between tunes. I am returning these because after 4 uses, they can no longer hold a charge. Very frustrating to have the unit plugged in overnight excited to use on an early morning run, and find that it doesn't work. When I plug the unit in, all lights are green...so I head to bed, and wake up to a flashing red light and doa unit. Bummer. So I'll return and wait for the Jaybirds.

The product works great for about a week. I've returned sf600 2 times already and i'm about to return another set. It's really too bad because they are great when they actually turn on or hold a charge when they are turned off.

Motorola Bluetooth Headset - Serious Drawbacks

    Posted .

The sound is OK, not enough base. Volume level is decent. It held a charge throughout my workout which is all I was concerned with, 2 hours is the maximum time I wore the headset at any one time. After 2 months of use, the mini USB charging port which is covered by a rubber plug, allowed sweat to enter, and the port was quickly destroyed by corrosion from the sweat. The corrosion wouldn't allow for a charge. Motorola wouldn't warranty the device after only two months of use because the warranty states liquid voids the warranty. Sweat from a workout, for a device supposedly designed for a workout environment, caused the failure. Live and learn. Motorola is having issues anyway, now they have another dissatisfied customer.

This headset was not only wireless, but very high quality. As soon as i turned the set on, it instantly connected with my phone/ipod. The sound quality matches, if not exceeds, those of the leading brands (bose, sony, beats, etc.). Very satisfied

This is my second headset. The first one lasted 2 months. They quit working while I was wearing them. I plugged them in to charge them up. But , could not get them to turn on.I returned them to the Best Buy in Brandon with no problems. Even with the problem I had with them. I still feel very satisfied. I wear them under my helmet while riding my motorcycle.

I have had these headphones for a little over 6 months. The LED has stopped indicating what is happening and it will not produce any sound but static. I have not tried to return them yet, but from the sounds of the reviews...it isn't looking good. I am not happy about them going out already due to the hefty price tag. For "fitness" headphones, you would expect a little more durability than 6 months.

    2nd Pair-Both stopped working

I have been looking for a great set of wireless headphones for working out. I thought I found them when I purchased the SF600 headphones. However, the first pair that I purchased stopped working after 4 workouts. I took them back and Best Buy replaced them for me. The second set stopped working after my third workout and I am heading to Best Buy to return them shortly. I'm not sure why they stopped working. After every workout, I wiped them off and put them in the protective pouch provided in the package. I guess I will have to find another manufacturer of wireless headphones. Very disappointed.

This is my second Motorola headset. I had the S9 which worked for a month then died. Absolute garbage! I work in technology so I was really excited about these new headphones thinking that they maybe fixed the issue of music cutting in and out and oh yeah being able to use them outside. Well they didn't and such a waste of money. Please do not waste your money on motorolla headsets. Just put that money to a pair of beats headphones.

Definitely the best bluetooth headphones. Excellent build quality, surprisingly great sound, very comfortable, and they stay in your ear while running. I would recommend these over the Jaybird Freedom headphones.

I have had these headphones for about a month and so far have not had any issues. They are a little difficult to put on at first, but you get used to them. I mainly use them when cutting grass and doing other yard work.

I used these headphones 4 times. Now the left ear crackles when you can get them to work. When you press the power button it powers up and then immediately turns off . I would like these alot if they were of better quality.
