Make great coffee and the preset option is a real winner

Maker fits requirements of parents basic coffee needs plus has a few nice options not on prior maker.

What is not wrong with this very cheap, poorly made machine? The clock cannot keep time, and has to be reset every day. There is no real manual that comes with it; rather, only a small packet with one page in five different languages. Problem is, the instructions do not tell you how to program the timer, and this particular model is not listed on the Mr. Coffee website (may be a Best Buy exclusive model), so you can't look it up. I threw the box away when I got it, so now I can't return it, and instead will try to work with Mr. Coffee, but probably not worth the hassle. If you are tempted, go to the store to see this one, as it is SO cheap and lightweight, you'll likely lose interest. A complete waste of money. Avoid.

Just a basic simple setup easy to use and no buying filters

The clock is worthless. Works well as a coffeemaker. Have not tried the time brew but suspect it will not work properly. Would return it but Best Buy has no more in stock.

After I acquired the 5-cup Mr. Coffee separately, I was very happy with it and decided to try the 12-cup. I was disappointed when I found out the 12-cup pot seemed to make a weaker cup of coffee. The best reason I could figure as to why is that the basket which holds the coffee filters in this pot appears to be larger so the beans are more spread out (when putting in a paper filter) resulting, perhaps, in a weaker cup of coffee. I plan to return this pot to the store, because in my opinion this is a design flaw of the pot. Separate from the complaints about the pot design, it's worth noting, that the Mr. Coffee Box we purchased (last one in the store) had a hole in it and appeared to be repackaged so it didn't appear to be in 'new' condition to begin with .

This coffee maker is just simple and cheap enough that I thought it would fit the bill. I now wish I’d believed some of the other reviews. Right out of the box I plugged it in and the clock, which controls the programmed start loses 10 minutes in less than an hour!! You can’t make tomorrow’s coffee with a clock that doesn’t work! I sent it back and can’t believe the company hasn’t recalled this machine or that Mr. Coffee still sells this. Don’t waste your time and money!

Our prior coffee pot died and given our health and current COVID 19 crisis, Best Buy was there to save the day. I ordered the coffee maker and just a few hours later it was on my doorstep. Thank you, Best Buy! You know how to treat your customers.

I have had several Mr. Coffee makers and this one has let me down. It can’t even keep the time right. And also the top lid does not stay on properly which has caused spills. I wouldn’t recommend this product.

New out of box and the clock won't keep accurate time. Loses hours. The auto shutoff never worked either creating a fire hazard. Ended up just being a coffee maker...turn on, make my coffee, turn off.

Easy to use and clean. Brews a decent cup. No frills.

It takes the water and brews a cup of coffee! What else can you ask for out of a coffee maker!

The clock on the coffee maker is constantly losing time, about 2 hours a day so if you don't care about the programming part than it works okay for just brewing coffee.

Clock is easy to set. Coffee is right temperature. Has an automatic shut off. A nice inexpensive coffee maker. I like its simplicity.

I love this coffee maker. The only down fall is there is no instruction booklet. I love the permanent filter. I tried to find the instruction book on line but couldn't find it.

You can use the timer or just brew the pot. I also like the auto shutoff after four hours!!
