A: Yes. There is an automatic shut off. This coffee maker shuts off after 2 hours if not manually shut off.

Q: Why does the clock jump ahead about 3 hours. It does this almost daily. I have unplugged and reset everything several times. I lost the manual, wondering if you could email me one. Thank you

A: I had the same problem and read the instructions a little more closely. Here's what worked for me. Unplug for 60 seconds. Plug it back and and hold both the hour and minute buttons down for 10 seconds. The display may go crazy but hold for at least 10 seconds. Release and set the time using hour and minute buttons. The timer on mine started working perfectly.

Q: Does this Coffee Maker use regular generic filters?

A: It comes with a reusable filter, so you don’t need paper filters, but if you remove the reusable filter you can put regular paper filters in. I prefer the paper filters over the reusable filter basket.

A: Hi, i just use a storebrand filter. It is a round cup but it could possibly take another size filter. I took photo of inside PS I also don’t know if that little filter srea could make a 12 cup pot. It overflows (the grinds) sometimes at 6 cups
