After going through millions of reviews and comparing different laptops for my needs, no one can beat this specially when prices were low and had huge discounts for few weeks. It use to go out of stock so fast that if u dont act u loose this deal. Build quality is good with metal chassis, track pad is big and great. Has ton of ports except SD card slot. Battery is ok ok and I didnt had high hopes for it. Considering what this laptop has to power up. Keyboard is good and above average. Speed wise its beast and blazing fast. Fingerprint unlock is fast. Overall u wont go wrong if u buy this laptop.

Perfect for Lightroom/Photoshop/Premier Pro. A $2000 MacBook Pro’s performance doesn’t even come close to what you get from this MSI. Love everything about this laptop and would recommend it to everyone. This model has (2) M.2 ports - I am transferring 900+ read/write speeds (10gb of photos in 10sec). Creator Center gives you control of dedicating the 9750CPU/2060GPU to specific programs like Lightroom/Photoshop to increase performance of these applications. Zero lag when working! I can’t say enough good things about this MSI. You won’t regret the purchase! - FYI fans are on constantly so if you want a quote laptop, this isn’t for you. For me, small trade off for the 9750cpu/2060gpu package on this lightweight, slim package.

This laptop blows anything remotely close to it's class out of the water. THE WATER. I purchased this laptop mainly for audio production which it handles competently. There's a constant but faint fan noise that worried me initially. However I've never been able to hear it through a mic while it was in the room. I also use it for light graphic design and occasional gaming. It handles both without issue. The 4K display is impressive. The color settings can be intense but are easily adjusted. The keyboard is satisfying to type on and the track pad is nice, wide and feels good. I wish it had a MicroSD reader but that's about it. Other than that the ports are more than sufficient. I'm a software developer and I care about performance, usability and build quality. For a personal yet incredibly functional laptop I couldn't ask for more. (I was not compensated by MSI or Best Buy in any way for this review but I do wish I was)

Loads extremely fast. Does everything we ask of it. Fans can get a little loud and it can get hot (sometimes even when it doesn't appear to be under much of a load). I'd give it 4.5 stars because of those things. But I'd get it again.

Upgraded to do some video editing and caught this on sale. Great display and ease of use. Very fast processing on videos. Speakers could be a little bit better but it’s ok for what I do. The fans kick in often while I’m doing edits which may both some people.

Get fed up with Razer's QC on their blades and found this at a local best buy. Tried out the display unit. Which funnily enough had a slanted screen and liked it. So i swapped it out for this and i love it. It just works. the 4k screen is beautiful, and just having a one color backlit keyboard is nice with very easy to use brightness controls. Having the fingerprint reader is nice as well. Basically this is a GS65 made for "creators". It does not have a 144hz screen cause it's 4k. But it has hdmi and mini displayport so you can output to a high refresh rate screen when needed.

really great for editing 4k and even 8k vids. Renders in a decent amount of time while other programs are running in background. The 4k display is amazing

GREAT LAPTOP FOR PPL THAT EDITS VIDEOS AND PHOTO. THE GRAPHICS CARD RTX 2060 IS A MONSTER. I ALWAYS BEEN A APPLE FAN, AND I WANTED TO TRY SOMETHING DIFFERENT AND THE MSI ROUTE IS WHERE I WENT, AND SO FAR I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS. THE 4K DISPLAY IS A PLUS! IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR A CHEAPER LAPTOP WITH THE CAPABILITIES AS A MACBOOK I RECOMMEND THIS LAPTOP!

I use this for gaming and I’m amazed by the display quality! The biggest thing that’s a little difficult is the keyboard isn’t set up like a new keyboard so it’s taking awhile to get used to. But aside from that I love this computer!

Absolutely amazing laptop, bought it on a whim before Christmas. I'm a creator, streamer, run heavy VR. It's never missed a beat, never throttled back that I've noticed. Powerful, solid, stable, worth the cost. Maybe what a Macbook should be. The I/O and design are great, the 4K screen just tops off the package.

Some says the fans are too loud but it really depends on how you use it. Screen resolution is amazing. The battery is the issue cause most of the time it is not charging when plugged in.

Bought two of them for my nephews. Gorgeous screen, but one of them, the fan broke :( Other than that worked great. One of them still works fine, that's why I gave it 4 stars.

This laptop is an absolute MONSTER. I was looking for a good deal on a gaming laptop and found this on sale a few weeks ago.....one of the best investments i've made this year... I am mostly using it to play PC games but it can be used for high intensity editing apps. All of the games I have played so far have been able to run at max settings with NO PROBLEMS. Worth every single penny. If its on sale you should strongly consider this!

This laptop has blown me away since I bought it a few months ago. The display is beautiful and bright, the performance is great, and the keyboard and trackpad move like a dream. The only issue I have found is the chasis does dent easier than I would like. I think they could have added another pound and made the metal more durable but that is all I can nitpick. With that said, I would recommend this laptop to anyone on a budget (got it for $1300) that doesn't want to compromise on performance or appearance!

I'm coming off macbook. I'm glad I have pulled the trigger on this MSN. Super slim, sleek and powerful machine. I9 processor in conjunction with NVidia RTX 2060 makes it a beast. The speakers are great as well, upgraded, not a generic type. Fingerprint recognition to sign in on Windows helps a lot. Beautiful 4K display. Fantastic purchase.

This is a great all around computer. Runs games better than expected and is perfect for video editing and powerful apps.

I think this laptop is equivalent or even better than the Mac Book pro at this price point. Image quality is fantastic and the keyboard is great and the speed even better.

Great laptop. It has run flawlessly and is very fast on startup. The picture is excellent.

Best laptop I've ever had. HP, Acer, and Asus do not compare.
