I originally got this model because MSI advertised that this Prestige model had a run time of 16 hours, not to mention that it has a sleek and professional looking design while sporting a nvidia gtx 1050. My experience with this model (8RC) has been a bit of a mixed bag of marbles though. Here's why:
Pro(s):
Looks sleek
Very lightweight, but durable design.
Multiple open slots to work with (M.2, ddr4 ram, etc)
Easy customization if needed
Very quiet unless you turn on Performance Mode
Con(s):
Weak speakers
Heats up incredibly fast if you turn on Performance mode
Slots are very rigid, so it's a bit of a hassle to plug/unplug things.
Only way to get close to "16 hours of use" is if you only turn it on battery saver and NOT use it.
Overall, I like it. The run-time was pretty misleading, but the design and option to play my games with little to no issue made it worth it. Just don't expect it to be the perfect balance between work and play though
