    This laptop was bought to replace my GS63VR. I wanted to have the new videocard and the new screen with slimmer display. I was looking at the GTX 1070 one for a long time and I'm happy I waited for the RTX release! It's slim and the narrow bezels are amazing. The colors on the screen is much better than my older GS63VR and makes the total experience just that much better. One thing I would suggest is to upgrade the memory if you want which is easy but time consuming. I suggest using the HyperX Impact DDR4 2666 32GB kit. I've tried other kits from Samsung and Crucial but this one is the fastest at C15 and shows up as 2666. Replaced the nvme with dual 1TB EVO+ 970 and it's great. This will be my go to gaming, photo and video editing.

    I purchased this laptop with the intention to draft in 3D. Even though it is a gaming video card, it works fine for what I need it to do. I use autocad, revit, and Navisworks.
