Small, fast, awesome performance for a reasonable price

Very good design, and good feeling when touching. The hardware is also very competing with the same price range

I'm using this laptop with the online Udacy VR NanoDegree course to build 3D environments. The laptop took me a little time to get used to, but its great. The keyboard is comfortable and the multicolored lights on the keyboard are quite snazzy. The weight of this laptop makes it easy to carry with me on all my travels too.

For the price, this machine is great for moderate gamers. Although a bit heavy, I enjoy playing 2k17 on the 4K screen. Easily upgraded ram and added solid state drive.

I love this computer, however I ended up having to return it. As one of the first devices released with the 10 series Nvidia cards, I was excited. Bouth it, love the screen, weight, typing experience, however, the battery life is pretty horrible, and the RAM failed in the first week of owning. I ended up return as I am always slightly skeptical of being burned on an early release product.

The laptop is lightweight, powerful, and has a great video card that is VR ready. This laptop does everything I want it to; play games, watch movies, and do my work. Multiple programs running simultaneously is no problem.

Bought this product after reading the many good reviews. After owning for about 40 days its great. Has handled any game Ive tried, which have been racing games and flight sims. Over all Im very happy with the purchase.

Only complaint is on battery. Not power etc though. It is not stated but the battery only shows a charge below 90% so when you first receive it and plug it in you may think the battery pack is out or an issue exists. Both Best Buy and MSI need to have that in the specs.

The laptop is light, yet durable. Screen is vivid, colors crisp, and resolution is spot on. Hardware runs like a champ, and handles pretty much anything I throw at it, within reasonable expectations given the hardware specs. Overall, a good mid-level gaming laptop.

Let me start off by saying this is my first gaming laptop or pc for that matter that I've ever had. I've always been a console guy but there is just a huge selection of games of pc I've been wanting to make the switch. This baby right here can play any game with the best graphics and still getting over 150fps. It has an actually video card in it. I don't have room for a actually pc and I've also like the fact I can take this baby with me if I go places. Of course it only last about an hour and half being ran on battery power before the laptop starts cutting the performance so I always have it plugged in.

I do lots of traveling and enjoy playing games to relax. This Laptop with its memory and graphic card allow me to do just that. The price was within my budget.

MSI makes quality laptops and You get what You pay for. This machine is packed with good hardware as well as a quality build and feel. Very fast but I have to admit that I formatted the hard drive and reinstalled Windows 10, not a restore. The machine runs much better without the stock image. If you have the cash this machine is worth the investment. The SSD is kind of small and the hard drive pretty slow but the video card definitely shines with this machine. I gave it four stars because I felt the stock image was loaded with junk and not worthy of the machine. The driver disk shipped with the machine however is very good-

Purchased this laptop for my 16 year old kid who needed it for school. Its also awesome for him since he's a gamer too. Runs Office 365, his MMO and music creation software with ease.

This may be a preliminary review, given my previous experience. This laptop has performed perfectly for me so far, but I've had issues with MSI products in the past. Fingers crossed

Really great laptop for gaming (can run most games on Ultra-High), the downside is the battery life. Sometimes does not last two hours.

Great laptop for a 6th generation processor. With it being a thin gaming laptop it does heat up.

May be a bit much for what I use it for, but love it: It's quick, powerful, and plays Civilization 6. Huge upgrade since the last laptop purchase, 7 years ago.

I went to Bestbuy with the intention of walking out with an ASUS ROG gaming laptop and decided to check out the MSI. I noticed the size difference which was drastic, consider that the ASUS was an 17" vs 15" MSI. Honestly I couldn't see the difference in monitor size so MSI won that battle. The ultimate deciding factor boiled down to ports. The ASUS only had an 1 HDMI port and one type-c. I was looking for more. The MSI had an HDMI, type-c and a mini display port. Decision made. Although the monitor was smaller I felt like I chose the better quality product. Highly recommend!

Great gaming features, even though I'm not a gamer. Has enough "stuff" in it to last and keep up with technology. I wish it came with a bigger screen and internal CD/DVD drive. This model (only one available in store for immediate purchase) does not have an internal CD/DVD drive, it's a bit of a pain when you want to load old programs and watch Videos by hooking it up to an external drive. One negative is the volume control you MUST hold the Function key then the arrow to lower or increase the volume. It's a pain.
