Great gaming laptop with amazing graphic card 1060, will play any game no problem. The only issue every time windows updates there is audio issues horrible even geek squad repairs it then problems come back when windows updates automatically just headache

Love this machine it's slim light has a good screen great speed and graphics performance plays every game maxed out at smooth frame rates and is priced extremely well. The speakers arent the best but I use a headset most of the time. This machine is all you will need for a very long time 5 stars for sure.

This laptop has taken everything I have thrown at it from Black Desert Online on ultra to Ark on Ultra. The only thing I don't like is the built in speakers. I use headphones most of the time so it's not a huge thing. Other than that I would say it is a great buy!

I got this laptop for my son. We needed it to pull double duty. He needed a computer for school and wanted a gaming pc. This one did both! My son is very happy with this laptop. The gtx 1060 graphics card does a great job playing new games at high frame rates.

No issues handling any game I play. Highly suggest.

Fast laptop with high end graphics card that runs all games out today at highest settings with no noticeable lag/framerate issues. Wish the 17.3" screen version was carried in stores and that the SSD drive was bigger (fills up fast). Only 2 downsides, otherwise, fantastic machine for the PC Gamer.

We purchased this item for our 14 years old son. He was really happy with this, was also easy for him to set up everything. I was worried about overheating by long use, so we put a cooler underneath. Until now everything is fine

Has great gaming features, the volume is okay, as well as doing other things on the laptop, for instance if you make music... it's alright to go with.

I didn't have any experience with MSI before purchase. Turn out I loved this laptop (until unfortunate incident with BB Geek Squad hd upgrade.) Easy to use and install upgrades. Manager at my store made it right though!

This laptop is a savage, the main thing that caught my eye with this one was the aesthetics, it's a beautiful machine, once I saw what was in this thing it was easy to make this purchase, only complaint is poor sound quality of the speakers, other than that this thing is perfect

Please update all of your drivers, especially the speakers to fix the problem with the horrible speaker. Uninstall bloatwares and update everything after that, and his laptop will be a beast. Everything I threw at it run insanely well and cool. Witcher 3 for example on ultra graphic with some tweaks to the setting give me a solid 60-70 fps. Laptop itself while gaming will get hot, but the cooler is exelent. While playing Witcher 3 I gets 70-72c on GPU and 55-60C on CPU with cooler boost setting. However, I recommend search "gs63vr reddit" on google and they will have tweak for this laptop to make it run like a champ. Pro: -IPS screen, despite people reviews getting a lame screen, my store carried a better panel -Keyboard is the best for this size of a gaming laptop -Size, Size, Size, so da compact! Love it and super ligt -Hardware runs cool eventhough the chasis can get hot Con: -Speaker suck, but after updating everything via MSI website, it improved where I can play game without headphone. Except the left speaker on every gs63vr so far has a high pitch sound. If there are crackling, just take a piece of paper and fold it, poke it gently on the speaker to fix that problem (probably a manufacturing problem that on happened on mine). -Chasis is extremely hot that you can probably get burn from it, that's the sacrifies for a thin gaming laptop. However, there is a cloth material on the bottom to prevent that. Normal use is not a problem since the laptop run cool to warmish. -Fingerprints magnet -bloatware, a lot of them. However, this is where you save money because of the advertisements so I ain't even mad. -CPU fan (right side) whine in a high pitch when run on max, but I got use to it. Still annoying. -Coil whine, minimal but you can fix it if you look up -you don't have it yet. To sum up, get it! Heck yeah, what are you waiting for? You're missing out! Or if you're waiting for the kabylake version, it's not really much of an improvement.
